As a long time Texan living in a purple county I am happy that Trump endorsed Paxton, but of course he waited until the polls showed a probable win in the primary anyway. This does increase Talarico's chances, but we've learned over the years that ever since the idiots GW Bush and Rick Perry somehow won governorships, every statewide or national candidate with an R next to their name has dominated. Trying to be optimistic, but it's gonna be tough for Talarico - any state that consistently elects the likes of Ted Cruz, Greg Abbott and the rest of the maga cult "leaders" will have a rough time rising out of the deep pile of shit they've created...
