Michigan has about 300 Chinese companies, mostly related to the auto industry. These companies have employees who regularly travel from China to the US and from the US to China. To think that none of these people brought the virus to Michigan is mathematically silly.

This is an unvetted theory that applies to NY only.
If true, Europe got the virus from China, so we are back to the virus coming from China.
The tri state area had almost 45% of the cases & the incompetence of NY has been well documented.
So if the Democrats incompetence caused all these cases, how could it be President Trump's fault.

Trump had information on the impending pandemic in early January, if not earlier. "The Democrats" weren't told---but he was. Over and over.
And he did nothing. Nothing. Nothing. Nothing. Nothing.
You say President Trump did nothing - because China hid the reality of what was happening when asked. Meanwhile, the braintrust of DemocRats did something - they (Del Blasio, and others) downplayed the threat, told the citizens of New York that there was nothing to worry about and advised them to carry on with whatever they wanted to do - to the tune of thousands of deaths and complete devistation of New York's economy. And the deaths keep on coming while De Blasio and Cuomo tell people one thing while doing just the opposite.
We had good intelligence on the virus threat in early January. Trump had that info and ignored it. You can scream about New York all you want; that doesn't excuse Trump's inaction and incompetence.

Kevin, the WHO declared the pandemic on January 30. Kevin now tells us that we should not listen to the experts and and the Trump should have made plans before these experts decided that it was necessary.
The WHO has declared many past pandemics, and I wish that Kevin would tell us in advance which of these we need to turn society upside down for, and which we should not. Kevin obviously doesn't have confidence in the WHO.
