Mark says:  "And the premise of opening the economy is pure lunacy with no basis in reality. What do you think is going to happen when the cases spike upward?  Is that going to be good for the economy? Are you going to go to work every day when you don't have food to eat because the food processing plants are no longer running? "

It seems like Mark just wants to keep the lockdown until a vaccine is widely distributed.  Because until that happens the elderly and those with chronic health conditions will continue to be at high risk for Covid.   Even with a vaccine, 60,000 Americans a year die from the flu. 

Smart states are opening up in phases.  They are keeping the social distancing.  They are not allowing large crowds.  But they are opening.  Keeping everyone locked down is the real lunacy. How many people have to die from the lockdown itself before it's killing more than Covid?  How many aren't being dignosed with cancer?  How many new homeless?  How many suicides?  How many trillions sucked from the economy that might have gone to medical research or helping people out of poverty? 

There are 2 groups that are mostly impacted by Covid19.  The elderly and those with chronic medical conditions.  Let's lock them down.  Take care of them.  Focus the testing on the people who must have contact with them.  Most everyone else has mild symptoms or no symptoms at all.  Let them get back to work.  If you're a senior or have a chronic health conditon stay in lockdown until this eventually passes.  Everyone else get to work!

In other words...the people most at risk are the ones who need to be most isolated.  It's kind of common sense.  Unlike the NY Plan that pushed Covid Positive patients back from the hospital directly to nursing homes to infect the entire facility.

Or the trump plan that ignored the fact that Europeans brought the virus here, not the Chinese and let 70,000 Americans die because of his incompetence.

Trump banned travel from Europe on March 12.  At that time there were 36 US deaths.  The EU strongly objected to Trump's unilateral action.  Did you support it then?  Were the Democrats clammoring for Travel Bans then or is this just hindsight?

Actually, he forgot to include England; he didn't realize it is part of Europe.

You couldn't even ignore me for 1 day.  Sad.
