I too want to understand this and have come to the conclusion they get their news off of their Facebook feed. So all they read is what Elmer Fudd and the rest of the crew have to say about what them liberals are doing to ruin the country. They don't read, hear, see the real news, they only get news from Fakebook.
Then they go to the gas station and pay $4.25 a gallon and think it is Bidens fault that prices are so high.

Social media is making people dumb. Conservatives that read conservative social media and watch Fox News have rotted brains that constantly search for the next conspiracy theory to enrage them. They are addicted to feeling enraged.
So even if they are mad at Trump they can't quit him because they desperately need their next fix. Fox News and Facebook are happy to provide that fix in fact their whole business model depends on their ability to rage bait people.
