Calling your opinion "the truth" is...ignorant.
But you know what? Even speaking the absolute truth can be insulting. Suppose someone said to you, "You're a wrinkled, ugly old man." That would be the truth, right? Should they have said that? Were they uncivil to do so?
Likewise, even if the people you attack ARE ignorant, you don't have to call them that. You can express disagreement in a less abrasive way. But because there's nobody in your mommy's basement with you, you feel safe with your insults.
How 'bout you go down to your ocal coffee shop, stand up, scream an opinion, ask who disagrees, and walk around calling those people "ignorant." You wouldn't last long.
