Thank God for Mayor Goodman. She does not want people to die from the disease, but she knows what this shutdown is doing to Las Vegas. There are many other issues that are hurting and killing people here. Domestic violence is up double digits, there have been job related family stress murders, depression, despair, suicide and homelessness all go along with not being able to work.
There is no reason that businesses should not be allowed to open and practice social distancing.
Our Governor is so unqualified to manage this State. He blames others for the problems of the unemployment system not working, he picks and chooses who gets to be considered essential; abortion clinics are considered essential, but not elective, possibly life saving surgeries like a heart stint or hip replacement. His office is totally unresponsive for those who need help.
He has no idea what it takes to run a business and could care less that people are losing their livelihoods.
He is a partisan democrat and will keep businesses shut as long as he can.
