The Swine Flu had a fatality rate of .2% COVID-19 has a fatality rate of 2% - 3.4%. Those numbers you cited were over the course of a year. To make a fair comparison, you would have to wait a year to compare.

Any comparison of the Covid-19 outbreak with the swine flu is idiotic, not to mention premature. And trying to excuse Trump by talking about the swine flu is pathetic.

Assuming only 60 million get it and the more conservative 2% fatality rate that is 1,200,000 people that are going to die in the US. Quite a difference isn't it?
