If you were cheering for continued GDP growth then you were cheering for more inflation -   but thats been par for the course on this board for months now.    The right wingers simultaneously cry about inflation and the cure for inflation.   I cant help them with that.   Nor I'm interested in trying.

The economy is responding to the massive interest rate increases which is the desired impact for anyone who cares about taming inflation instead of crying about Joe Biden.

Sleepy and friends have done so well.  And Old Town Chicago is just as great as it was 4 years ago.

At least PJ isn't arguing that a recession isn't a recession.   Just that a recession is good.

So you were rooting for more inflation?     OK then.    Free country.

I'm happy to side with team Sleepy and the other sane people who give a shit about economics instead of politics.

It was soooo obvious 18 months ago if government pumped more money into the economy we would end up with hyper inflation.  They fucked up.

So you're going with the whole " checks caused inflation" argument...just not the ones Trump wrote.

that's even more embarrassing

Nope.  Trump fucked up with the giveaways.  Biden added crazy fuel to the fire.  Anyone who knows economics saw this coming.  Many on this site said that this hyper inflation was coming.

Now.........suddenly, inflation isn't inflation, and recession is a good thing.

Housing crash to follow.

No - America just made the decision that inlfation was a lesser evil than 30% unemployment....including the guy you voted for.

I agree.    And so did Republicans right up until the Jan 6 coup failed.
