Where are all the MAGA fundies??

Conservatives, Republicans, MAGA--they're all holy rollers: humble servants of God. They joyfully attend church and hosanna until their voices give out. They believe in Christian principles like forcing children to pray in school. SO...

Trump is overtly mocking and arguing with the Pope. Vance just piled on, saying that the Pope should obey Trump. And we all saw the Turd depicting himself as Jesus.

Where's the outrage??? Can you imagine the shitstorm if BIDEN  had done something like that? Disrespect the Pope?? Millerscum and stupid Tom and Boilerboob would be raving until they turned blue. Fox Nooze would spend three hours of airtime condemning it. Antisocial media would be exploding.

I'd love to hesr Millerscum's excuse/justification for this one. Why is it perfectly OK, even a bigly genius move, for Trump to disrespect the Pope and depict himself as Jesus? His press secretary bitch said it was "just a joke." Is such a joke appropriate?

C'mon, Millerpig. Defend him. You always do--you're his bitch! He never does anything wrong!

I would be glad for this example of Trump's true self come out and slap people's faces to wake them  up.  I've been patient, but this latest, religious ferver aside, Kevin, shows the one behind the curtain as far as morals and respect for the people he is supposed to be advocating for, protecting, since nothing else seems to have caught peoples' attention.  Nothing else seems to have registered, and I myself have waited in order not to make snap judgments until things have time to work themselves out.  But I'm out, so to speak.

All the troublesome acts that have come from Trump: The firing of skilled people of science; the appointment of unskilled and blatently inexperienced cronies of his; Musk/DOGE and their diabolical acts; naming landmarks after himself without reasonable connection; what he has done that has escalated the cost of living beyond what folks like me might have been willing to put up with in the short term (war, travel, gas to name a few), is too much.  I don't have enough years left to enjoy the so-called improvement-to-be of America.

So, I hope this latest thing does get around by way of Fox or "holy rollers" or whatever it takes, and raises some hackles.  America was founded on religious freedom, to believe or not believe.  No need to make fun of those who believe and go to church etc., including the Pope.  The issues I've mentioned affect everyone.

P.S. Trump making light of the current Pope's appointment etc. is another way he shows his ignorance of that process (among many) and his overall disrespect of people and faith.

A Reverand's response  --- May be an image of text that says 'Reverend Jordan Wells Subscribe Trump Isn't Calling Himself Jesus God's Call He's Answering Trump isn't calling himself Jesus. He's been crystal clear from the beginning: he believes he's doing the work God has set before him. Jesus' disciples healed the sick in His name. With Christ us, we can do His works too. have no problem with this lay hands on sick and pray for them all the time. The outraged by this are just looking something be mad about. Trump is openly praying for the sick and as Protestants, we still believe the power of prayer. simple.'

To all posting here - I am sick and tired of all of the complaints concerning the present Trump presidency. If you can bear to break away from the media and DemocRAT's twisted rhetoric for a minute, then take the time to read the multitude accomplishments of President Trump's first 15+ months in office. If you are unwilling to read this article I am posting a link to, it is apparent that you really don't know or want to know the actual facts and would rather bitch and moan, demonstrating the level of brainwashing you have accepted. Here is the article, from Google  --  365 WINS IN 365 DAYS: President Trump’s Return Marks New Era of Success, Prosperity ---   https://www.whitehouse.gov/releases/2026/01/365-wins-in-365-days-president-trumps-return-marks-new-era-of-success-prosperity/

I was sure that David would rummage around the rectum of the Internet until he found some asswipe Trump apologist. That fool's opinion, even if genuine, is in the vast minority. It's also a lie. Trump isn't praying for anyone, except perhaps himself. The fool says what all the servile Trump apologists say when the Turd does something horrible: those who object "are just looking for something to complain about."

That clown is no more a priest than I am an astronaut.

So the propaganda outlet that directly serves Trump posts a servile, drooling screed about how wonderful he is. What a huge surprise.

They ignore Trump's recent assholery with the Pope, of course.

OK, David.  You see it as how you see it, and I respect that.  The pastor views it how he sees it.  Fine.

Were it just this one thing I could blow it off as careless, disrespectful, narcissistic.

But it is the totality of things I mentioned and more.   Pastors pray over the sick.  They are supposed to, privately.   But I can't imagine a pastor likening himself in the image of Jesus.  Do pastors post photos publicly of themselves praying over a sick person?  I don't think so.  It is nearly like communist leaders posting (mandating) those gigantic photos of themselves everywhere in the public.

Glad he can't run again.

I just think its funny it took this meme to finally get some people to acknowledge the president's narcisim and his nasty discourse with people.   He insulted the pope and portrayed himself as Jesus.   Yeah, thats awful.

Is it more awful than calling our dead Veterans suckers and losers?   Bragging about assaulting women?  Mocking the reporter with cerebral palsy?  Ridiculing war hero John McCain for getting caught by the enemy?

Posting pictures of the Obamas as apes?   All that was a no biggie.   But the pope?  Ooooo  - thats a bridge too far.

In lieu of everything accomplished and that is and will be accomplished - you have decided that an "image" is a worthwhile reason to "be glad he can't run again"?  Considering President Trump as being "careless, disrespectful and narcisstic" is your right. No one is 100% correct 100% of the time. At last wenow have a President addressing long dormant issues, correcting wrongs and dealing with problems head on instead of ignoring issues and leaving these issues for someone else to make right. President Trump walked into a mismanaged, anti - America situation caused by 4 years of DemocRAT obstruction and corruption. Fixing EVERYTHING in 1 and 1/4 years is asking the impossible - especialy with the corrupt Screwmer/HackQueen led DemocRAT obstruction, government shut downs and stalling tactics they demonstrate daily. One sure thing I know, after his 4 years comes to an end, the United States and the world will be safer, and better off.

Candy, David didn't post his opinion; he copied and pasted someone else's opinion. I'm still suspicious that all his diatribes and posturing here are merely those of a constructed persona: one he has created in order to start and fuel arguments.

Who Trump is was manifestly and sickeningly evident long before this recent horrid nonsense. Therefore, the present MAGA silence and even disgusting apologia, as in David's post, is no surprise. They've been excusing his behavior for a decade.

David's "pastor":(my ass) prattled about Trump praying for the sick. I'm sure there's a video somewhere of him appearing with a priest at a press conference and bowing his head and mumbling. That means nothing; actions do speak louder than words. And his actions include a crusade to reduce Medicare and Medicaid benefits, which will surely increase the number of sick people and their suffering, and a horrible war that has already killed thousands and greatly increased the number of sick and injured.

You know I loathe Trump and you know I'm an atheist. But I'm especially angered and disgusted by his attacking a manifestly good man, one who is a force for good in this oft-times awful world. I don't have to believe in God to believe in Leo.
