Where are my Savings

Biden promised that the Inflation Reduction Act would reduce my prescription drug costs. Just got my refills; same price as before. Where are my savings?

Law's impact on drugs

- Beginning in 2023 Seniors will pay $35/month for Insulin.    On behalf of my diabetic mother I say thank you.

- Beginning in 2024 and phasing into 2025 seniors will have their total annual out of poket cost of drugs capped at $2,000

- Beginning in 2023 Medicare will have no copay for vaccines like Shingles

- Beginning in 2026 Medicare will begin negotiating prices of certain drugs and increase that number annually.

I'm sorry if Tom was not invited to the party to celebrate.  I'm guessing people who oppossed the law weren't invited.   

It didn't take effect immediately, stupid. And only certain prescription drug costs will be reduced--starting in 2023.

I never saw any government announcement:"We are immediately reducing stupid Tommie-poo's prescription drug costs."

 The DemocRats made a big deal out of this, even though none of this actually kicks in until 2023, then 2024 and finally 2026. None of these savings kicks in for literally years, except for insulin. In other words, the DemocRats are doing nothing NOW for Americans, with the exception of a recession, highest inflation in decades, highest energy costs in decades, empty store shelves, millions of illegals crossing the southern border, and TRILLIONS of dollars added to the national debt - these bastards are ruining America while they are celebrating and having a party. Those of you who voted for these traitors, how smart do you feel now? You idiots are the blame for where America finds itselt today - you are some really ignorant, stupid morons.

Well whoever runs the party planning is as fuckin brain dead as Joe! Biggest one day drop in the stock market in 2 years and higher inflation numbers than expected. Real fuckin smart! Pelosi even had to key the audience when they should clap.

So the savings? from the Inflation Reduction Act won't take effect for 2 more years.  Doesn't help pay for food/housing/energy now.   So the IRA is worthless, even though biden says inflation is his first priority.

For the record, I pay $21 per month for my prescription Medicare Supplement Plan & my two 90 day prescriptions cost me $13.95.  So this prescription benefit is another smokescreen as all someone needs to get lower drug prices is to get a Medicare Supplement Plan
