Where are my Savings

So the savings? from the Inflation Reduction Act won't take effect for 2 more years.  Doesn't help pay for food/housing/energy now.   So the IRA is worthless, even though biden says inflation is his first priority.

For the record, I pay $21 per month for my prescription Medicare Supplement Plan & my two 90 day prescriptions cost me $13.95.  So this prescription benefit is another smokescreen as all someone needs to get lower drug prices is to get a Medicare Supplement Plan

Tom, most liberals are either too broke, stupid or lazy to look into and buy a Medicare Supplement plan.  They must have it handed out by the Govt.

"Broke?" Many supplement plans charge zero premiums.

Try again!

Irony goes over the head of Tom.

He supports doing nothing to lower drug costs but simulataneously cries how Democrats aren't enacting those reforms fast enough.

But thanks for stopping by!

I pointed out a program that currently exists that for a modest premium one can get low price drugs. Many prescriptions in this program have no copays.

There was need for this fake program that doesn't take effect for at least 2 years.

All of the 2 million Americans with type1 diabetes will see a massive reduction in their out of pocket expenses starting in 3 months.    Others get phased in later.   Both copays and taxpayer funded costs will go down.

drugs without copays aren't free, Tom. But apparently you don't mind giving a blank check to big pharma.   Please refrain from lecturing about government waste going forward

Among all adults with diabetes, 92.0% have some form of health insurance, including 86.5% of those 18-64 years of age and 98.8% of those > or = 65 years of age. Approximately 41% are covered by more than one health insurance mechanism, but almost 600,000 people with diabetes do not have any form of health-care coverage

600,000 people is less than 0.2% of the population.  98% of seniors have coverage.  PJ - your mother must be doing something wrong if she doesn't have coverage.

Again a benefit that is much ado about nothing.

Yeah, anything that doesn't help YOU, and/or doesn't help you INSTANTLY, is worthless.

The most significant part of the bill is to allow Medicare to negotiate drug prices directly. But that's too complex for you to comprehend, Tommie-poo.

Stupid, shortsighted, ignorant Tommie-poo.

Insurance does not = free drugs.    And since you already used the vocabulary word "Copay" in this thread I know you understand its definition.

Average Out of Pocket costs for Insulin in Medicare today

God forbid you are uninsured or have crappy insurance.

I remember when Paul Ryan celebrated the $80 tax cut Trump gave to a worker in his district.    Diabteics stand to gain a helluva lot more than that.   Way to go Brandon!...and way to cry about it, Tom !

600,000 people benefit from this bill; much ado about nothing

And the Green New Deal costs 80 Trillion dollars.

Thanks for your usual, bitter temper tantrum that manifests as you making up numbers.
