Whole Foods Closes In San Francisco

My assessment is from understanding economics and human nature.  My assessment is from watching the ramifications of wokeness and Liberalism.  We told you that inflations was coming.  We told you that giving away free shit was a recipe for disaster.  We told you that energy prices would spike.  We are telling you that NYC, California,  and Portand are heading into the toilet.  The toilet is only beginning to spin.

Your assessment is from watching conservitard propaganda. We know that neither your sources nor your opinions are even remotely objective.

You might not be aware that your silly "predictions" have been spouted by your gang for at least five decades. And as far as your supposedly understanding economics---look up the average wage earned in SFO and PDX, and compare that to the average wage earned in the US.

Liberalism makes money. What you idiots call "wokeness" makes money. We don't waste time or money on racial witch hunts and trying to prevent people from living their lives.

But feel free to make some more predictions. Talk is very, very cheap.

The largest tax payers are fleeing NYC, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Chicago.  They are doing this for several reasons, but most of it centers around fiscal irresponsiblity which has lead to ever increasing tax rates.  Crime and homelessness is also a huge reason for the mass exodus.

And Kevin, let's not forget your wonderful Portland, as it's near the top of the list for people fleeing the city.  I don't doubt that the place is not as bad as the sensationalized news shows, however I'm certain that it's not nearly as nice as it used to be.  Portland provides specific policies which encourages drug use, or at minimum doesn't discourage drug use.  They have policies which attact and encourages homelessness.  You must really enjoy seeing these people dying within your city and right before your eyes.  Then, many of Portland's largest tax payers are moving to low tax havens..........think Texas and Florida.

Kevin, it's only going to get worse on all places mentioned above.

Republicans passed SALT Tax laws that raised taxes in blue states.    And now they say its those states' fault.   ANd, and by the way, Texas is not a low tax state.   Their property taxes are among the highest in the country - and since property values are going higher so are their taxes.    The cost of owning a home in Texas is not far behind New Jersey.

Most of the relocation is for sunny weather with people who are now able to work remotely.   And there is now a backlash because people generally dont like the draconian abortion and book banning laws being implemented by the Good Ole Boy club in those states.

Regardless, its not something Republicans should be celebrating.   There was an exodus to Colorado 20 years ago.   Colorado is now a blue state.    Arizona and Georgia are also in that transition.   Texas is next.

ALl those educated liberals with their high paying jobs dont like thier government run by trailer park retards with confederate flags posted in their yard.

In large cities, people move in and people move out. It's dishonest to say that the people leaving are "fleeing." You don't have the slightest fucking idea why they're moving. Don't pretend that you do.

PDX. LA and SFO have large homeless populations because a) most cities do and b) the weather is never deadly, so people can survive sleeping outside year-round. And yes, we don't form vigilante committees to hunt them down and kill them, the way Republican cities do. I donate to homeless shelters, as many folks here do. The ugliest people here say we encourage the homeless to be here when we do that. That attitude is disgusting,

But guess what, Boiler! You can live where you want, and I can live where I want! It's still a free country--the RepubliQ haven't taken over yet! Portland is a wonderful place to live. You may not think so, because of all the natural beauty and the nice people. Those things would repel you. We don't have very many ignorant shitkickers who make up stories about nonwhite people.

REI begs to differ as of today

After 20 years of business, REI confirmed it will close its downtown Portland, Ore., location in early 2024 amid increased crime in the store’s Pearl District neighborhood.

Their crime index is 1; which means that 99% of US cities are safer

  Lewis NEVER tells the truth.

More wonderful news on the ramifacations of Progressive politics.  Kevin's Portland friends are doing so well.

You pigs wouldn't like Portland. It's too nice of a place. You're not going to move there. So why bitch and whine about it?

If REI was so down on Portland, they wouldn't still be operating three stores in the Portland metro area (5-15 miles from downtown) and one across the river in Vancouver.

Yahoo's shoddy reporting fails to mention that the downtown REI was by far the least profitable of the five, due to a location away from major thoroughfares and a severe lack of parking. They had been planning to shut it down for three years.

Chain stores closing downtown locations is nothing new. Guess what--it happens in inbred goober Republican cities, too!

There is reality & kevin's world of delusion where he cannot read.

They had been planning to shut it down for three years

Proof?

downtown REI was by far the least profitable of the five, due to a location away from major thoroughfares and a severe lack of parking.

The reality.  Extensive theft makes stores unprofitable.

After 20 years of business, REI confirmed it will close its downtown Portland, Ore., location in early 2024 amid increased crime in the store’s Pearl District neighborhood.

REi invested $800,000 in security & they were still being robbed.  REI has 2 other stores (not 4) in the area; the nearest almost 9 miles away.
