Will they finally put the Trumpster in the dumpster?

The RepubliQ whispers about dumping Trump are growing to a full-throated chorus. RepubliQ who say that Trump isn't good for the party are no longer being hunted down and beaten to death. Some of the party faithful have dared to timidly ask him to delay his candidacy announcement, scheduled for today. Even Fox "News" has blasphemed--a recent editorial segment blamed the recent RepubliQ debacle on the Orange Pusbag.

So...do you think the RepubliQ will get rid of him, or will they nominate him yet again in 2024?

Do you think getting rid of him will be simple and easy? Or just loud? He's gonna have something to say about that...so will those who are still joined at the hip with him. I don't know about the rest of the party, but I can't support him. His support is waning, generally speaking. He didn't produce a sterling record with his campaign endorsement outcomes recently. We'll see.

We will see how people feel about him as the next two years under DemocRatic rule transpire.

David...Yes..two years is a lifetime in politics. Again, I personally supported several of his policies ( monetary, national defense, tax cuts, etc.) while in office; far superior to what we've observed recently. But I can't abide his personality traits anymore. If you can and do, go for it.

Fuck the dumpster, I want to see him in prison.

You have quite a gift for understatement.

He also lost his reelection bid in '20 to a weak challenger, brought about the loss of the Republican Senate in the same year and in the '18 midterms caused the Republicans to lose control of the House when Democrats picked up 41 seats.

That makes three successive election disasters that he's caused for Republicans since his single career win in '16 against a very poor candidate who additionally was hobbled by an FBI Director who put his finger on the scale by publicly flirting with indicting her with a series of flip-flop announcements in the middle of the campaign in which Trump still lost the popular vote and who finally left office (dragged kicking and screaming) in '21 with an approval of 34%.

Thanks for the compliment ( on the understatement), if that's what it was.  I take all the above to mean you've stuck a fork ( or maybe a machete?) in him.  I stuck two forks in Comey a long time ago. Somebody's always gettin forked in DC.

No. I'm just saying that *I* think he's been a disaster for his party. It remains to be seen if his Jim Jones-like cult will continue to drink his Kool-Aid going forward.

I do appreciate your nuanced and balanced posts.

Personality traits ??  - This man has experienced unsufferable media attacks for 6+ years. They have lied about him daily. The fucking DemocRats have tried to impeach him twice, the Russia bullshit, and unfounded law suits - all of which were proven to be lies. All the while, pre covid, he did a remarkable job with the economy, rebuilt the military, made America energy independant, created (not replaced) 7 million new jobs, lowest unemployment rate in a half century, he secured the border, the list goes on and on - - https://trumpwhitehouse.archives.gov/trump-administration-accomplishments/ During all this time the media and the DemocRats constantly made up lies and NEVER truthfully reported what his administration accomplished. When covid hit, the media amped up their lying rhetoric, blaming him for the resulting carnage that occured in America. No one in the world was prepared for what happened or how to stem the effects of the virus. Trump got vaccines developed in record time saving million of lives. Meanwhile Cuomo, Whitmer and other DemocRatic leaders murdered thousands of senior citizens by introducing the virus into senior centers - and they did not get even a slap on the wrist. During the pre election debates of 2019 he predicted what would happen to America if the DemocRats took control- and he has been proven right. The media whipped up the nation into a frenzy, painting untrue pictures of him and convinced those who voted DemocRat to vote for the brain dead Biden. We are all living the nightmare that the DemocRats have foisted upon America  - the atrocious Afghan withdrawl, record inflation, all time energy costs, wide open border, adding 7.9 Trillion dollars to the national debt. And all the while, even to this day, he is still being attacked and not given credit for what he accomplished. It is no wonder that he is bitter and lashes out at the DemocRats as they continue ruining America. I don't condone many of his current verbal personality traits , but I know that when he was in office America was greater than it is now. That man loves America and all he has gotten for all that was accomplished was ridicule. I will accept mean tweets and the justified calling out of the evil DemocRats all day long because I know that America would be much better off if he was the current President. I am always amazed that millions of Americans are too ignorant to see just where America is headed and the fact that they prefer to vote for the very people who are destroying our once great nation. The younger generation has become more concerned with the sick indoctornation of eroding morals in our schools, CRT horseshit, trans gender idiocy, wokeism, gender fluidity - the list of stupidity never ends. How do you like $6 a gallon gasoline, the running out of diesel, historic inflation, empty grocery shelves, record rental prices, thousands of small business closings, etc? The list goes on and on. So go ahead and dislike him, but I will tell you that I would vote for him in a second - he may not be perfect, but he had America on track to be great again.
