Stay classy, Bob.

Yep. Both Orme and estekefavauer are true pieces of work.

They probably won't see this post for an hour or two. I think Hannity's 3 hour AM radio lecture to the sheep is about halfway over.

Pot//meet kettle
At least they put forward opinions, comments and thoughts, something you rarely if ever do. I'm not sure if you think it's funny or really have nothing of substance to say. Seriously MD, I'd really like to hear you chime in and say something besides your "insulting" usual.

What fun would that be? Most everyone knows Obamacare is not as bad as the haters make it out to be nor is it as good as its supporters attest.

DonDiego is glad he is not a hater.

I would never call you a hater. (except the Dallas Cowboys and I fully support you in that emotion)

Sounds like false equivalence to me. While we have prominent right-wingers claiming that Obamacare is the worst thing ever, unconstitutional, and nearly an impeachable offense, where are the liberals who claim that Obamacare is near perfection?

I think most liberals have too much class to act that way. For example:

Liberal Dem Jim Moran now saying Obamacare probably not going to work as intended and he can't conceive of any solutions to the problems with the law.

The official Republican Response(s) to the State of the Union conceded the previous system is not an option as it was an unsustainable mess. Thats interesting since they voted 45 times to revert back to it. For all their 5 years of crying they now admit what everyone already knew.

Big news. Does this mean republicans will actually put an idea on the table to be scrutinized and subject to popular rating? My goodness! What on earth will our resident conservative friends do?
And so it begins...the GOP gives us the blueprint for their Obamacare alternative.... And its loaded with all those big government taxes, big government regulations, big government picking winners and losers, and all kinds of things that just make me wanna pee my pants.

Forbes: Republican alternative to Obamcare is a big tax hike

But I'm not being snarky, here. Just the oppossitte. I'm glad to see some Republicans are actually addressing problems instead of just stomping their feet in a temper tantrum. And unlike past Republican think tanks this group acknowledges their solution needs to be paid for. And they are using actual pay mechinisms instead of telling the public they can pay for things by lowering taxes. This is huge! But now comes the hard part...paying for things invites criticism because nobody likes to pay for things. Maybe thats why the GOP never paid for things before. Lets see if they stick to their guns or let Paul Ryan come to the rescue with a giant tax cut.

Great post. Contrary to Fork's assertion, I never implied anyone thought Obamacare was near-perfect. Time will tell if it's a smidgen better than what we had before. I hope it is and I hope it's refined to near-perfection. While our conservative friends rail against socialized medicine in all its nefarious costumes, they never offer a solution that serves all Americans; not just the middle to upper echelon.

I never said that, and I'm sorry if I gave that impression.

What I did say was that your post seemed like false equivalence. You equated belief on the right that Obamacare is the worse thing ever! - to those who support it as an improvement over the existing system that still needs some tweaks. One side is hysterical, the other rational, and we're not equivalent.
