What fun would that be? Most everyone knows Obamacare is not as bad as the haters make it out to be nor is it as good as its supporters attest.

Sounds like false equivalence to me. While we have prominent right-wingers claiming that Obamacare is the worst thing ever, unconstitutional, and nearly an impeachable offense, where are the liberals who claim that Obamacare is near perfection?

I think most liberals have too much class to act that way. For example:

At the liberal MSNBC "classy liberals" like Alec Baldwin and Marin Bashir lost their shows because of uncivilized behavior and language. Ed Schultz has been suspended for similar behavior and Melissa Harris-Perry recently issued a tearful apology for mocking the Romney family adoption. Current and former MSNBC hosts Keith Olbermann, Al Sharpton, and Lawrence O'Donnell would never fall under any normal person's definition of classy. Are you sure your post wasn't sarcasm? Because the most discredited political poster on this board lecturing on class is just too funny.

And MSNBC fired them! Meanwhile, last night:

A Republican congressman threatened to throw a reporter off a balcony and said to him "I will break you in half." Unlike MSNBC, the response from Republicans has been ((( crickets chirping ))) Anyone surprised?

But general civility was not my point. Prominent Republicans, and "conservatives" on this board have used words like communism, dictator, and unconstitutional to describe Obamacare. Sounds kind of like hysterical talk. Unlike me for example (see below):

Buffet's statement is so misleading and figure old Forkie to not challenge it.

Long term capital gain income is taxed at far less than ordinary income rates because there is risk, and because tax laws were written for the purpose of encouraging taxpayers to invest.

Buffet also tries to add in social security taxes (mind you that is NOT an income tax) for his secretary when making his point.

If Mr. Buffet wants to challenge apples versus apples, then he flat out lied.

Poor old Forkie, he doesn't understand the complex tax laws and how absolutely misleading Buffet's statement really is.

Mr. Buffet's taxes could be lower for many of the following reasons:

1. Much of it is municipal income.
2. Much of it is long term capital gain income (taxed at 15% in past years)
3. He had large capital loss carryovers (short term and long term)
4. He had freed up large suspended passive losses
5. He had a NOL carryover from prior years.
6. He had large ordinary losses.
7. He had large expenses, including charitable contributions

The fact is if you compare ordinary income of the rich to ordinary income of the poor, the rich were paying a max rate of 35% (now it could be 39.6% plus the surtax for salaries or investment income), while most of the middle class is paying 15% to 25%.

Please give us the full facts or are you just to dishonest to do that? Fact is that the tax rates for ordinary income is much greater for the rich than the middle class and the poor.

There could be massive losses incurred in earlier years by the rich that they are now offsetting against their income.

Why are you so incapable of giving all of the facts Forkie?
