Poor old Forkie, he doesn't understand the complex tax laws and how absolutely misleading Buffet's statement really is.

Mr. Buffet's taxes could be lower for many of the following reasons:..
Romney paid 15% - according to Romney. (And that's the tax year he WANTED to release.) And regardless of who said it, the mega rich do pay a lower rate than the middle class - according to PolitiFact. Or are they lying too?

Please give us the full facts or are you just to dishonest to do that? Fact is that the tax rates for ordinary income...
"Ordinary income?" Who said anything about ordinary income?

Total income period.

You poor thing. You are not a dynamic thinker and have to give an insincere argument to try and make your case.

You know Roulette Man, I think I'm really getting to know you as a person:

Isn't it amazing that Forkie took a picture of my post to Number 51 before the thread was deleted? He claims he doesn't cut and paste and keep files on people but that he only googles for information.

I guess he just shot himself in the foot on that one.

Now back to the topic.

We DON'T know the particulas of why somebody's effective tax rate was 15%. The taxpayer may have extensive losses to offset his income either from the current year or prior years.

Forkie is suggesting that if you lost money, that it is your fault, but if you made money you should ALWAYS pay tax on it without any consideration for other losses. Even his liberal friends don't agree with that.

I'm sorry that you appear to be a lemming for the left wing who regurgitates what he is told without looking at all of the facts or the context of the situation.

And I posted my modification on 1/24, about a half hour after your post. And what do you know, photobucket still saved it!

And I think everyone should know about the kind of creepy language you use around here. Which is apparently acceptable to the moderators.

If you can show where I suggested that, than you are a truthful person. If you cannot, than you are not a truthful person.

Is there any other way to see it?

Well you are the one who made the 15% claim. Seriously dude are you being disingenuous or is this above your head where you can't comprehend it?

LOL. This from someone who stalked treegirl. That thread was deleted within ten minutes after posting that post. How is it on Photobucket? Dig that hole a little deeper and show the rest of the board that you couldn't tell the truth even if your life depended upon it.
