Now two . . . thugs have beaten an 88-year-old World War II veteran, Mr. Delbert Belton, who survived being wounded in action during the Battle of Okinawa only to be beaten and left for dead by two . . . teens at the Eagles Lodge in Spokane, Washington on Wednesday evening.

Thankfully Washington State does offer these creeps the death penalty. They are supposed to have a choice between lethal injection or hanging. DonDiego says "Hang these bastards!" DonDiego would be honored to spring the trap.

Take a moment and ponder why the race of these assailants is significant to you. How does their race affect your understanding of this terrible crime?

Does hearing that they were young black men make you feel better about what happened to Trayvon Martin?

So are we to assume you would have had no different reaction if two white youths had beat up an elderly black man? Think long and hard about your answer before you make a fool of yourself.

DonDiego has no understanding of this crime. There is no reason to it. The thugs are something beneath human beings, regardless of the pigmentation of their skin.

Nonetheless, DonDiego has removed the reference to the color of the assailants from his post.

We should be more concerned with whether or not these children possessed skittles at the time of the incident. If my understanding of the law is correct, this would make them innocent.
