5th Annual Weenie Dog Football Challenge!

As promised....the cookie bones were delivered to Casa de Rizzo on Monday night.

We snapped off a bunch of pics of the winning Weenie dog, Roscoe, and his grand prize.

This is the opened package with all the good stuff inside. The folks at this dog bakery did an excellent job and Friedmush picked a great looking assortment of doggie treats

Roscoe was torn between the carrot cake, and the heavily frosted cup cake. heh heh



Mr. Kiki wanted to get in on the selection process...



At the end, they each selected a cup cake, and got down from the ottoman, while I put the other treats away for a later date.



Roscoe ate the carrot cake yesterday, and Kiki had the ice cream sandwich, looking treat.

Both my dogs loved the treats, and we thank FriedMush and Brother Blackjack once again for being such great sports!

Thanks again, and here is hoping you guys get the treats, on next years Weenie Dog Football challenge!

Glad the treats made it to the Rizzo home in tip-top shape.

It works out especially well when the baker answers the phone at Three Dog Bakery. lol She was really excited to include baked goods which they don't ship. She whipped up a plan and called me back about 30 minutes later for my approval (something about having batter on her hands when I called). The baker said she would price the order to include standard shipping charges, but she would hand deliver. I am glad it all worked out!

PS: Blackjack was 4-0 on his picks last weekend now that they don't count, the little b@StSWd!

I'm going to have my friend JAF Cat help Blackjack next year. It is time that Roscoe be knocked off of the top of the mountain.
