6th Annual Weenie Dog Football Challenge

Weenie results after week #4

This weeks summary: One good weenie, and another good weenie

Roscoe's Saint's pick, was a straight winner, and they won by what Roscoe said they were going to win by!

BlackJack's pick was also a nice winner, as the Ram's beat up on the shitty Jaguars!

So the Standings look like this:

1st place BlackJack with a record of 3 wins and 2 losses

2nd place Roscoe with a record of 1 win, 3 losses, and one tie

Good luck next week puppies!

I'm time to knock the inane political threads (ugh) down a few notches on the Free for All by posting some weenie prognostication.

Looking for my third straight win, I'll take the Minnesota Vikings minus 2 1/2 points vs the visiting Carolina Panthers. Quarterback Cam Newton has become more one dimensional, running less and passing out of the pocket more in a boring offensive plan. Plus Newton has been sacked 15 times already so you know Jared Allen has a bull's-eye circled on No. 1. Backup QB Derek Anderson better be ready.

Look for the Vikings to run well with Adrian Peterson and get a steady performance from QB Matt Cassel for the win.

Its time to make my weenie pick of the week, and extend my winning streak to 2.

This week, I am going with the OVER 40.5 pts on the Raiders/Chiefs game this weekend.

The Raiders defense looked decent against the lowly Chargers, but they usually step up for a prime time game. This weekend, its back to the dull, drab and weak defense.

The Chiefs have been playing pretty damn good ball, and Alex Smith should easily pick apart this Raiders banged up secondary!

I think this game will get to a total of 50, so taking the over is like stealing cookie treats from Blackjacks owner for the 4th straight year! LOL

Take that pick to the bank!

Good luck to brother B-J and everyone else who is making these weenie wagers!

Enjoy the games!

Another two weenie turds were produced this past weekend. Ugh

Weenie results after week #6

This weeks summary: One bad weenie, and another bad weenie

Roscoe's Raiders/Chiefs OVER 40.5 pick, was close to being a winner, but he needed the Raiders to score more then one touchdown! Sheeesh

BlackJack's pick was a real beatdown as the Ram's beat the shit out of the Vikings this weekend!

So the Standings look like this:

1st place BlackJack with a record of 3 wins and 3 losses

2nd place Roscoe with a record of 1 win, 4 losses, and one tie

Good luck next week puppies!

Time to make my weenie pick of the week!

This week, I am going with the Kansas City Chiefs minus 6 points over the shitty Houston Texans.

The Chiefs are undefeated, and the Texans just look horrible. They've thrown a pick-six in the last 5 games that they have played. This week they are going to start a rookie QB out of the University of Houston, instead of T-J Yates.

The Chiefs Defense will have a field day this weekend!

This spread, really should be more like 14 points....but I'll lay the six, and take the easy money!

You'd be wise to do the same!

Good luck to all of those making these weenie wagers this weekend. May the power of the pups be with you!

Damn you, Roscoe. You stole my pick. I just couldn't beat your 6:47 a.m. posting today. If you win this year's challenge I may send you some special treats that Friedmush missed on the back lawn.

Time is getting away from me so let me hurry up and post that I will taker under-42 1/2 points in what should be a defensive game between Miami and Buffalo.

Good luck, everyone!
I am going to bite off Ryan Tannehill's leg. Dolphins are running clock when he fumbles, setting up a winning field goal in the final minute for Buffalo and costing me the under 42 1/2 points bet. And hopefully by rabies shot is out of date.
Weenie results after week #7

This weeks summary: One bad weenie, and another bad weenie

Roscoe's Chiefs -6 pick, was close to being a winner, but the fuckin Chiefs laid down with 1:34 left in the game on a first and goal on the one yard line! They still won the game, but they did not cover the spread!

BlackJack's pick was a loser as well, since the Buffalo/Miami game went well over the posted 42.5

So the Standings look like this:

1st place BlackJack with a record of 3 wins and 4 losses

2nd place Roscoe with a record of 1 win, 5 losses, and one tie

Good luck next week puppies!

Come on Weiniees....We are not making any money with picks like that. We are almost half way though the season...time to roll that bone over and bite the other side......Let's GO....a winning record is still within reach!!

Good Luck!
