6th Annual Weenie Dog Football Challenge

If you are depending upon weenie info for making money you have two ways to go from here on out:

1. Take the assumption that the picks are so bad and that they have a "due" factor.

2. Take the opposite of what they choose and assume the wave continues.

Generally I find trends seem to continue and the "due" factor can cost you.
I've lost two games that I practically had in the bag. Week 1 when a late hit out of bounds extended a drive and last week when Miami needed one first down to cement the outcome by taking three knees, but fumbled instead. Grrr

The KC Chiefs weren't good to Roscoe last week, squatting on the 1-yard line (I call that good sportsmanship) heehee. But the Chiefs will be good to me this week by beating the Cleveland Browns by more than 7 1/2 points. Cleveland's Jason Campbell makes only his second start since 2011 and faces a stiff KC defense.

Go Chiefs!

Good luck anyone.
Its time for the brown weenie to make his pick of the week!

I got screwed last week with the stupid Chiefs game, last week, but this week I have got a nice one for you.

I am going with the Bengals minus 6.5 points over the N.Y Jets. The Bengals QB, Andy Dalton, is looking GREAT this year, and all of his receiving weapons are actually hanging on to the ball this year. The Jets are coming off of a great win over the Pats last week, but they're still hungover from that big win, and they will FAIL miserably this weekend. Take the Bengals, give up the points, and cash that ticket!

Good luck to all of those who are making these weenie wagers this weekend.

Weenie results after week #8

This weeks summary: One bad weenie, and one good weenie

Blackjack's Chiefs -7.5 pick, was close to being a winner, as the Chiefs won the game, but they did not cover the spread!

Roscoe's Bengals Pick was a SOLID winner, as the Bengals put a stomp on those NY Jets!

So the Standings look like this:

1st place BlackJack with a record of 3 wins and 5 losses

2nd place Roscoe with a record of 2 win, 5 losses, and 1 tie

Good luck next week puppies!

The week is getting away from me. No time to explain this pick this week, there is a cat on the wall I need to go chase. Taking the under-45 wager on the Philly-Oakland game this week. Good luck, Roscoe!
This weekend I am taking over the lead in this weenie contest.

I am going with the Dallas Cowboys minus 10 points over the Minnesota Vikings!

The Vikes are playing musical chair quarterback again, and this time its Christian Ponder's turn to throw five interceptions and get sacked several times in one game.

They still have Adrian Peterson as a weapon, but defenses can feast on the run, knowing that this is the only true weapon that the vikes have.

Dallas, on the other hand, have been scoring points, like its nobody's business, and I expect them to run it up this weekend for sure. Dez Bryant, Terrance Williams and Jason Witten will have HUGE games for sure!

Easy money this week folks...

Good luck to all that are making these picks. May the power of the brown weenie be with you!

Weenie results after week #9

This weeks summary: One bad weenie, and another bad weenie

Blackjack's UNDER 45 pick on the Eagles/Raiders game turned out to be a BLOW OUT! Philly alone scored over 45 points! WOW!!

Roscoe's Cowboys Pick was an over all winner, BUT the Cowgirls didn't score enough to cover the 10 point spread! Damnit!!

So the Standings look like this:

1st place BlackJack with a record of 3 wins and 6 losses

2nd place Roscoe with a record of 2 win, 6 losses, and 1 tie

Good luck next week puppies!

Come on boys it's anyones for the taking. Let's see a dog fight in second half of the season.
This sure is a bad season for weenies picking football! Its time to start a nice winning streak and "lock up" those cookie bones at the end of the season!

This week I am going with an underdog. I am taking the St Lous Rams plus 9.5 points over the Indianapolis Colts!

The Rams defense has been looking pretty damn good lately, and they've been in games right to the end, keeping it close the whole way.

The Colts have been playing the same way, giving up early leads, and then, coming back at the ends of fourth quarters and stealing wins (barely)

That 9.5 point spread is just too much for the Colts who really haven't blown out anybody yet this year.

This should be an easy one for the brown weenie!

Good luck to all of you who are making these weenie wagers!

I'm taking the Vikings in last night's game. ... Oh, and the over.
