6th Annual Weenie Dog Football Challenge

This week, I am taking the Carolina Panthers Minus 4.5 over the Miami Dolphins Panthers are on a mission to win their remaining games, and Cam Newton has been playing lights out!

Dolphins capitalized on the Chargers mistakes last week, but they aren't a very good team.

Expect the Panthers to dominate early and often.

Good luck to all of you, that are making these weenie wagers.

That half point hook always comes back to bite you in the ass.
Weenie results after week #12

This weeks summary: One bad weenie, and one really bad weenie!!

Blackjack's Colt's pick was a loser as the Colts got their asses kicked bad, by the AZ Cardinals! They needed more then 2.5 points....

Roscoe's Panthers pick was a flop as the Panthers won the game, but missed out on covering the spread by half a point! Damnit!!

So the Standings look like this:

1st place BlackJack with a record of 5 wins and 7 losses

2nd place Roscoe with a record of 3 wins, 8 losses, and 1 tie

Good luck next week puppies!

Should the winning dog be required to have at least a 50 % winning average?

Heck no. This has been a tough season for picking games.

Have you seen the records of the paid experts this year? CBS online has eight expert picks. Not one of them has a winning record. Pete Prisco is 82-94. Other records include 72-104 and 70-106. Not one of the Fox TV pregame show had a winning record going into last week. And they just pick straight winners, no spread! They might as well flip a coin.

Weird year. Very weird.
I gotta have some Thanksgiving action.

I'm too late to get in on the Detroit action, that game has kicked off. So I am jumping on the over-48 points in the afternoon game between Dallas and Oakland. I like Dallas in that game, too, but I only get one pick. So looking forward to plenty of points while I gnaw on a turkey bone while Friedmush naps in Lazy Boy.

I almost forgot to put my picks in for this weekend!

Stupid Rizzo went out to the M-resort to get 8X/2X points on slots and video poker and he forgot to set my phonebooks so I could reach the computer.

So...here I am now, and I have got a winner for you!

This week I am taking the Cincinnati Bengals +! over the San Diego Chargers. The Chargers are off and on this year, and the Bengals have just gotten bad breaks on their recent losses.

The cats will be too much for the lowly Chargers, and their, just another losing season. They suck!

Take that one to the bank!

Good luck to all that are making these weenie wagers

Weenie results after week #13

This weeks summary: Two good weenies!!

Blackjack's OVER pick on the Raiders/Cowboys game was a solid winner, as the total surpassed the 48 points easily

Roscoe's Bengals pick was also a winner as the Chargers fell apart, once again and threw away any hopes of making the play offs!

So the Standings look like this:

1st place BlackJack with a record of 6 wins and 7 losses

2nd place Roscoe with a record of 4 wins, 8 losses, and 1 tie

Good luck next week puppies!

Do I ever have a tail-waggin' good pick for you this week.

I am picking the Arizona Cardinals to beat the St. Louis Rams by more than 6 points. It's true the Rams opened the season by squeaking out a win over Arizona in Week 1 when Sam Bradford still put on pads on Sunday. And I'll admit St. Louis has played respectably with journeyman Kellen Clements at quarterback.

But the Cardinals are tougher than a rawhide chew toy at home, where they are 5-1 with lopsided wins over Carolina and Indy and their lone loss was to powerhouse Seattle. And Red Bird defense is strong. Clements has been sacked 14 times in five weeks and you know that Calais Campbell and Company are licking their chops. With a cold front enveloping most of the country this weekend, this will take the weather out of play.

Go Cardinals!

Good luck to Roscoe and everyone else jumping on the weenie picks!
Time to string back to back winners....

This week, I am taking the Kansas City Chiefs minus three points over the Washington Redskins.

Whatever has happened to RGIII, this season, is NOT going to get any better until next season. The skins are playing bad ball, and their 3-9 record proves it.

The Chiefs are coming off of three consecutive losses, but they were all against damn good teams. They really need a win this weekend, to lock up their spot in the playoffs.

Personally, I think this spread should be 10 points...its going to be Chiefs over Redskins big time!

Take that to the bank!

Good luck to all of those making these weenie wagers. May the power of the pups be with you.
