Some of my best friend are blacks. Blacks, when compared to the balance of the population in the US commit lots of crimes and are terrible students. They have a high rate of children out of wedlock.

But you think black people should be profiled by police, while white people under the EXACT same circumstances should not require any special scrutiny. So you obviously think that whites are superior in the area of morals and honesty. You have also said that whites, in general, are superior workers.

I believe that all Americans should be profiled. Whites, blacks, Asians, Indians, and all others. We profile restaurants, roads, cars, trees, weather, casinos, blog posters..............we profile everything on Earth. Liberals wish to treat blacks differently than we treat everyone else.

We've been treating Indians differently for 150 years, and I would argue that the Liberal way continues to prove a terrible failure. Liberals wish to continue treating Indians differently, but with more money thrown at the problem.

Indeed, prior to the first election of The Obama folks on this Forum discussed the relative experience of the potential candidates in both major parties; The Obama was pretty well recognized to possess the least experience. Elections have consequences.
What with turning Egypt from a Soviet Ally to an US ally, . . . and responsibility for the eventual peace treaties between Israel and Egypt and Jordan, . . . and,especially the negotiation of the petrodollar with Saudi Arabia President Nixon and Secretary of State Kissinger actually accomplished a lot for the United States. It is quite likely all of the benefits of these accomplishments will be gone before The Obama leaves office.

Regarding DD's suggestion that I (or someone) hijacked your topic, I apologize. I enjoy rolling with a discussion as it evolves.........kind of like the music and film association.
