Any info on brain cancer?

How horrible, really sorry to hear this TG. Prayers and Godspeed!

JOHN
Thanks again all. I'm just devistated.
How can she be doing her everyday stuff one day then this by the end of the night? How can something so terrible and this far along not have earlier warning signs? She is the healthiest one of us. She rarely drinks, no drugs, eats better than I ever will.
Really sad to hear this. We always ask "why", we just need to keep the faith and realize God chooses his "first team" very carefully.

Wish your family nothing but the best, be strong for her in this time of need.
I am so sorry to hear this. But please....get a second, third, fourth opinion. Sometimes miracles happen and I'm hoping for the best miracle ever for her.

So sorry, but will keep her and you in my prayers.

Depends on a lot of things including type of tumor, but I'm thinking that if they said 1-2 years that is a pretty optimistic projection and maybe there is good treatment for what she has.

A prominent attorney here woke up one day unable to hear in one ear. Very sudden. Turned out he had a brain tumor in a bad place, very scary, but he had surgery, I think gamma knife, and turned out fine. I don't recall if he had chemo or radiation, and this was about 15 years ago.

Sending prayers your way for your sister and you and your family. I hope things go well for your sister.
My prayers and thoughts for your whole family. Think positive and enjoy each and everyday you have with your sister.

Diane
I am sorry to hear of this. My cousin died of brain cancer before he was 50. It is important that your sister seek out other opinions and treatments.
My thoughts are with you and your family. GIANT HUGS to all.

Try to stay positive. Medical technology and treatment options are constantly changing. Miracles do happen.
So sorry to hear.....I was reading your post last night while in the ER with my wife who had a terrible headache. She also is very healthy and her headache luckily turned out to be sinus-related.

All I can say is enjoy every day you have on this planet with the ones you love because one never knows what will happen tomorrow ---- good or bad. Your sister will need you and I know you will be there for her no matter what.

Your family is in my prayers.
