Maybe we could all memorize a little sonnet about DonDiego.

Although such an activity would certainly benefit all participants, especially any children involved . . . DonDiego prefers to keep a low profile.

Nonetheless, if someone were to compose such a sonnet, DonDiego would also like musical accompaniment, . . . specifically "Die Fahne Hoch", preferably the version as played on a 78RPM disc as in this video.
We played murderball in jr. high. After the pledge of course.

I could go on and on with quotes from very wise people , people who are much much wiser than the people on this board who find it necessary to mock religious belief . Belief in a higher power , is ingrained into the very fabric of this country . The founding fathers , in their wisdom , recognized this , and it cannot be denied . Bob

While the forefathers they included the words they also meant for there to be no persecution for ones beliefs and I don't know that very many believe in that anymore. Personally any teacher doing that is wrong and I do believe they should do the pledge of allegiance. I f you wish to pledge elsewhere by all means please leave and do so there, not here.

The founding fathers added "under God" to the Pledge. In 1954.
The "Pledge" has nothing to do with the founding fathers. MoBob's statement has nothing to do with the Pledge. First, lets keep that straight.
California SB-1306 regarding marriage removes the terms "husband" and "wife" from the Family Code and pretty much all laws pertaining to marriage. The governor signed it into law last week. They could have left those terms in the law and added something like "and/or spouses", but husband and wife are now words too offensive to be used when referring to married people in California.

The whole state is a bowl of granola. What ain't fruits or nuts is flakes.
