Anyone offended?

We said it every morning in school because we were told to. We had no idea what it meant, it was just something we were taught to memorize and say. no one ever broke it down for us, or explain what it means to us. Hell, most kids, and even some adults start it be saying "I pledge of allegiance..." We weren't given a choice of weather or not we wanted to say it. I am not saying that is good, bad, or whatever. It just is what it is
Obviously the best way to promote liberty is by forcing peer-pressure-averse young children, directed by government agents, to memorize and chant in unison a slogan about how great liberty is.

The mind reels.

Luckily there is an alternative, . . . one can force peer-pressure-averse young children, directed by government agents, to memorize and chant in unison a slogan about how great The Obama is, . . . as documented in this video.

Mmm, . . . Mmm, . . . Mmm. Indeed, . . . the mind does reel.

Umm, . . . anyone offended ?

that's my town. Taxes are pretty high here.

Oh the trauma that all children must have suffered from giving the pledge of allegiance. They were forced to do the pledge, ride bikes without helmets, play dodgeball, and play on playground equipment like jungle gyms, when in fact they should have been involved in free condom giveaways. Oh the humanity.

I didn't click the link, but I expect it's video of the public school in Newark (?) where the teacher taught the kids to sing a song praising President Obama.

I agree with you, I think that was inappropriate and shouldn't have been done.

Oooo, that video gave me the warm and fuzzys.

That video kind of reminds me of the WWII film footage you see of German propaganda films with the school children.

I think that had to have backfired on that teacher.
Maybe we could all memorize a little sonnet about DonDiego.
