My company's policy expired yesterday but since nobody (incuding the insurance company) could figure out the law it has been extended until the end of the year
Obamacare is live?!!

Is the toilet still flushing? Is there sufficient power to operate the coffeemaker. Does the computer still work? Anyone experiencing any personal difficulties?

Some posters here may want to know.

The lines are kind of long, kind of like when a new iPhone comes out. Over one million folks visited healthcare.gov before 7 AM Eastern.

LOL site is broken when you go to apply it says come back later.

As of 10pm site is still broken, and clicking on the Apply button still returns this error:

The death of people who disagree with you is good news to you. Nice...
Or as Steve Jobs put it, "Death is very likely the single best invention of life"

No, I'm not wishing death on anyone, just stating the obvious fact that the incoming generation is made of much finer people than their elders. They are less likely to discriminate based on race, religion, or sexual orientation. They are less likely to try to impose their version of the deity in the sky on others. In short, they are less judgmental and less cowardly

And don't think I am discriminating against old people. The very old folks, you know, The Greatest Generation, were also pretty great in their own way. It's their children who didn't turn out so good.

Some of those "much finer" people were on display in the motorcycle mob thread and in this trip down memory lane when "much finer" people viciously attacked a MGM Grand employee. Give me as a neighbor someone who wouldn't vote for a Muslim President over these "much finer" people any day of the week.

Obviously he is once again spewing bullshit. He claimed "if you like the policy you currently have, you can keep it" well 10 states may differ, they are learning they don't have that choice. And rates are going to increase by 40 percent the first year!

California
New York
Maryland
Iowa
Missouri
New Jersey
Wisconsin
Connecticut

It was on site Sunday. Sure as good as you are with searches and charts you can find it. If not I will when I find the time. Yahoo search "ten states where you will not be able to keep your present health insurance"

Several articles appear.
