The better we know Tim Tebow...

It's not crazy, it's a discussion of a specific topic, which YOU chose to divert onto a DIFFERENT topic. If you can't understand that the citations relate to the topic, then you're just pissing into the wind.

And, no, the entire quote doesn't make him seem any smarter. Why would A PROFESSIONAL do something like this??? To claim that great QBs aren't super-athletic??? What is that? Is he making excuses for himself?

I sincerely thought he was one of the brighter guys in the league, who wouldn't do something like this.

Trying to have a rational, sane discussion with mrmarcus is not possible. The word "reality" is not part of his mental makeup. I defer to the truism-" argue with a fool and they call you foolish".

The Steelers played terribly on that play. It had nothing to do with luck. That receiver was the fastest man on the field.

"Tebow can build hospitals in poor areas. If Tebow does spend all his money it will be doing the Lord's work not on $8000 bottles of booze or child support for 8 kids by 8 different women. "

Or we can talk about Terrell owens who has managed to blow $80m on nothing

Terrell Owens, the former NFL star receiver who has signed to play for and co-own an indoor football team, is friendless and nearly broke, he told GQ magazine. ā€œI’m in hell,ā€ Owens, 38, said he tells people who ask about his well-being.
The $80 million or so he had made in his career is almost gone.

Owens also pays $44,600 a month in child support for his four children, ages 5 to 12. Three of the four mothers have sued him.

..Or are you just obsessed with him as I suspect? It's like he's the Chevy Volt of Pro Football.

HAHA, chevy volt of PF, that was pretty funny.
And of course he won't be in arena if he no longer cares to play football. As far as going through all his money, like someone else mentioned it's possible If he does some major charitable work, which he does.

$44,600/month for child "support" is outrageous. Each of the "mothers" should be in prison for larceny. And the "judges" should be in prison for impersonating a judge.
From: https://bleacherreport.com/articles/465698-denver-broncos-wr-demaryius-thomas-the-nfls-best-kept-secret

"Thomas said when he made the final move, he decided to start living his life the right way, and said that he became a Christian and vowed to always stick to his word. He said one of the things he told his mother was that someday, he would go pro in some professional sport, whether it was basketball or football. That promise was fulfilled when the Broncos selected Thomas with the 22nd pick in the 2010 NFL Draft.

I say Thomas has intelligence, and that is backed up with facts. Thomas had the 10th highest wonderlic score of any player at the NFL scouting combine with a score of 34, which is well above the average for a wide receiver. His humility is very easily detected in his demeanor. He is a quiet player who lets his play do the talking.

Another thing coaches can't teach? Speed.

Thomas reportedly was running a 40 yard dash in the 4.36-4.38 range prior to his foot injury. At 6'3" 229 pounds, the only other receivers in the NFL who might possess that kind of size/speed ratio are Andre Johnson, Larry Fitzgerald, and Calvin Johnson. It's almost unheard of."

This is the guy the Steelers let loose on a post pattern.

Considering his career is over and he is broke I hope the mommas saved some of that support.

Anybody watch Unnecessary Roughness on USA? One of the characters is a Owens/Moss type

Selective reading is the hallmark of a hater. He said great QB's aren't NECESSARILY 'super-athletic', but they have great rhythm and timing...and that's the fundamental the he needs to improve....the guy was being humble and honest....yet you portray him as Dumb and making excuses. Tebow is very athletic.

Payton Manning and Tom Brady fit the category of not 'super-athletic'...both are Great QB's. But, you know, haters gonna hate.

LOL is all I can say. I guess when TT puts his foot in his mouth, that's the signal for the rest of us to follow suit. Peyton Manning has been sacked 231 times, yet his most recent season passer rating was 109. In 2009, Brett Favre started the year with 468 sacks, yet he scored a 107 that year.
