I'm telling you, it would not have turned out bad.

I have been in very similar circumstances three times in my life. Once was almost identical (though with real color displaying bikers).

When a herd mentality thug/bully meets with passivity he will push the altercation as far as he can. If confronted with some real resistance he will back off and pretend that he made his point.

The SUV driver displaying a handgun would have most likely ended the confrontation. Even when they outnumber the victim, no one wants to take the first bullet.

I worked with a woman who carried a gun. I mentioned it would not be any use in a gang type situation. She replied, "yes it works, if you shoot one, the rest will run away". I never thought of it like that.

I agree about having a gun. It is like the line from some movie where the loudmouth in the gang says you can't shoot all of us and the victim replies I will start with you.

What is really BS is in the movies were a criminal pulls a gun on an innocent person and makes the cops give up their gun. That would never happen in real life. Once you do that you have given up all of your leverage.

We are in total agreement on this one. I don't car how much of a bad ass you are nobody wants to get shot and when they see you have a gun and in this case the upper hand because you are in a four wheeled vehicle with metal around you, I would take my chances that they would back off.

I might get blasted here but when I read this morning that the biker that was run over might be paralyzed I smiled.

But what if, absent any video proof, a biker shot first - and claimed the need to do so because he was being attacked and standing his ground? And to complicate matters, what if the occupants of the SUV were wearing hoodies?

It would be so much simpler if the good guys all wore white hats.

Looks like the guy who got run over is paralyzed.His wife is claiming they did nothing wrong to provoke such an attack, actually he was being the good samaritan to stop andhelp his buddy up.

Hmmm, I dont know, I think I would of been pretty frightened by a hundred bikers surrounding me and beating on my windows,I wouldve tried to bolt as well.Id be prettybummed to hear someone got paralyzed tho but I doubt I wouldve done anything differently.

So the driver speeds up, gives gun to wife who shoots through back window and nails lead cycle (She misses someone else gets it) After she nails the second biker, maybe we head to the police station and check in. I'm betting no one follows too closely!
