BLM backs down in Nevada Cattle roundup

I won't take either side in the dispute. As usual the truth probably lies somewhere near the middle. Bundy is breaking the law and should give in and will probably have to eventually. The best part of this thread is PJ and Fork's insistence that the law must be followed. I counted about 30 posts between them in the thread and many extol the virtue of obeying the law. They have about 12,000 posts total and I can guarantee not one of them have to do with insisting on enforcement of our immigration laws. They apparently don't care about the illegal immigrants stealing billions in taxpayer dollars or the hundreds of US citizens killed by illegal immigrants. But, let one right winger owe $1 million to the federal government and their indignancy knows no bounds. Your hypocrisy is shameful.

I never made any such point. Lie much? That's the point our resident conservatives (like you) made during the implementation of the ACA....and how the president was a dictator for not enforcing aspects of that law. Sound familiar, estekefauver? On this thread I simply pointed out the hypocrisy of those people who are now standing firm behind a lawbreaker.

And I'm not surprised you aren't outraged by a psycho that threatens to kill cops. Its not like he's a Black Panther with a nightstick or something.

If anyone were to threaten the murder of our troops or police to fight deportation laws, they would be terrorists, just like Bundy's anti-BLM terrorists.

I am utterly consistent; I'm for ballots not bullets, and if you're on the other side of that equation, you are no patriot.

By the way, I'm with President George W. Bush and President Obama in support of the Dream Act and support of immigration reform. If you consider that shameful, so be it.

Yet another Forkush straw man. Land used for the Keystone XL Pipeline is a right-of-way easement. The landowner still owns and uses the land. The pipeline is buried and the land is restored to its original condition.

You voted for the President whose DoJ supplied the weapons used by people in this country illegally to murder border patrol agent Brian Terry. Ballots AND bullets. You must be a proud patriot!

Well if you can't trust keystone-xl.com, who can you trust? What does bp.com have to say?

Keystone's first pipeline had a dozen spills in its first year, and it would be sending half a million barrels of crude every day under the creek which is the ranch's irrigation source. If history repeats itself, insurance won't cover it, and they'll have to sue Keystone.

Come on, you don't think that reduces the value of the property that Texas just claimed on behalf of a foreign corporation?

Having said that, if she threatens to kill our troops or our police in defiance of Texas law, she is a terrorists, just like the anti-BLM terrorists. And those who would defend either one are scum.

Boiler believes that all laws on the book should be enforced. Those that are stupid should be changed by Congress. Furthermore, a president should not create laws as the Constitution tells us that is the job of others.
