Lawmakers from 9 states gather in Utah, discuss ways to take control of federal lands.

From the Salt Lake Tribune
Fine. But if they do it by force, in defiance of federal courts, threatening to murder our troops and our police, they are terrorists, like your friend Bundy.

You really have gone off the deep end lately. This is more of your hatred. If you are to use the broad brush of someone being friends of Bundy then we would have to assume you totally supported Ted Kaczynski. Of course both assertions are absurd. You need to reel it way back.

Could someone explain to Roulette Man what the word "if" means?

He clearly was sick that day in school.
Hmmm?. Where is the word "if" in "like your friend Bundy"? It looks like Chilli needs to take a reading course.

Yeah, lawmakers from 9 states might have met to conspire to commit all of those things.

There was plenty of force on and close to the Bundy ranch, the vast majority of it put into place by the government. The "First Amendment Area" was real special...something that I'd expect from an authoritarian regime. If ANYONE had actually threatened to MURDER any government agent, the FBI would have intervened, arrested them, and they'd be facing felony charges. If Bundy was a true terrorist threat that you, Reid, and many on the left make him out to be, there would have been bloodshed long before agents rustled 400 head of his cattle.

I understand why the Bundy family has tried to protect their ranch and family legacy. They were paying all of the fees associated with grazing on public land until politicized science was used to alter annual contracts for those grazing rights. The BLM was going to force them to reduce their herd to a point where the ranch would no longer be a viable business, as they have done with many other ranchers, not only in that region, but in areas all over the west. Bundy doesn't believe the US government has the authority to force his family ranch out of business for the reason(s) the government claims. I agree with that...as do others who support the Bundy family. It's called common sense.

The demonization of the Bundy family and those who support them, comparing them to terrorists, is un-American. Citizens of this nation are not here to serve the government. The government is here to serve its citizens. ...or at least it was.

Forkie, I believe that you are protected by the Constitution and don't support you. In fact, you're a prick...
And a joyous Easter to you too!

Of course yesterday was a solemn anniversary also - 19 years. Americans who murder our government workers, or threaten to, or defend those that do, are an embarrassment to patriotic Americans.

WOW. You really want to lump together a man who, in his heart of hearts,is defending what he perceives as his and his family's ancestral land and somebody who wants to go and cause intentional harm to completely innocent unarmed civilians.

You can't tell the difference between the two, seriously? Are you still sticking to the taliban comparison also?

Whats the correct vocabulary word for someone who threatens to shoot and kill US law enforcement agents? I want to make sure I'm being politically correct.

I'm no lawyer, but I would say that would be assault. But I'd like to know the full context. Was that before of after they were tazed? Was that before or after the BLM drew their weapons?

Paraphrasing the words of Jeb Bush - this was no felony and it may be an act of love.

But then again, I'm no lawyer.

How come Obama decided to enforce this law?
Did anybody notice that harry reid's brother in law works for the BLM.

If it wasn't for harry his entire family would be unemployed
