I dunno. What's the correct vocabulary if US law enforcement agents draw weapons and threaten to shoot a US citizen ala Randy Weaver at ruby ridge? And this whole thing is over some cows grazing in the desert?

Last pic of Vicki Weaver alive

Who's the terrorist here? Some may say the US marshalls were, eh?

Most law enforcement agents carry firearms...for instance, the cop who gave you a speeding ticket. Should law enforcement agents be unarmed? The BLM law enforcement agents have made no public statement threatening to kill Bundy over cows, have they?
Bundy has made public statements threatening to kill BLM agents for enforcing the law as rendered by a US Court.

So now that we have the facts straight, it brings me back to my original question:
Whats the correct vocabulary word for someone who threatens to shoot and kill US law enforcement agents?
item 1:
"And what country can preserve it's liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants. It is it's natural manure."
__ Thomas Jefferson to William Stephens Smith, Paris, 13 Nov. 1787

item 2:
"In Salt Lake City Friday [18 April], representatives from Utah, Idaho, New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada, Wyoming, Oregon, and Washington met for a Legislative Summit on the Transfer of Public Lands.
'What’s happened in Nevada is really just a symptom of a much larger problem,' Utah House Speaker Becky Lockhart said at the public lands summit."
Ref: Christian Science Monitor

PJ, I have not come to a conclusion which party is at fault, or possibly both parties are at fault. Please see my response below regarding you question "The BLM law enforcement agents have made no public statement threatening to kill Bundy over cows, have they?"

I don't know if they've made threatening statements, but certainly have taken a physically threatening position. Lots of numbers, lots of guns, pointing guns. If someone hasn't threatened me, but then punched me in the nose, do you ask if he threatened me?

From CNBC Delayed: Obamacare’s employer mandate for small businesses

"Companies that have 100 or more full-time workers, defined as employees who work more than 30 hours per week, still will have to begin complying with the mandate to offer such coverage in 2015 or face financial penalties of at least $2,000 and up to $3,000 per worker.

Officials said that any business claiming they are eligible for the new one-year delay because they have fewer than 100 workers must certify, under penalty of perjury, that it had not reduced its workforce merely to qualify for that exemption."

DonDiego calls attention to the second paragraph.

Congress passed no such Law requiring companies reducing the number of their employees to "certify under penalty of perjury" that they did not do so to avoid the exemption. Because there was no exemption, . . . until yesterday!
Does the reader really want the President to have this power? Change the Law and make up a new exemption and invent a new class of perjury? REALLY?
OK. OK. DonDiego will try one more time: What if it were Richard Cheney doing it?

Like I said - law enforcement agents are typically armed. Is this something you object too?

Care to quote Jefferson on the proper care and feeding of slaves? Speaking of which, Jefferson wasn't terribly interested in the female liberty tree or the non-land owner liberty tree either, was he? In other words, some 226 year old beliefs don't transfer well to modern times.

These days, about the only people relying on that quote are bitter old men who are upset that they aren't getting their way anymore. And if you seek to justify the threatened murder of our troops or our police, you're just saying democracy be damned, and you are no patriot.

Umm, . . . OK.

DonDiego stands behind his earlier post cited by pjstroh, above.

A Law should be enforced. If there is no intention to enforce a Law the Law should be eliminated or changed.

To eliminate or change a Law requires Legislative Action. The Chief Executive, in this case The Obama, has no authority to arbitrarily rewrite the Law and add additional penalties for disobedience thereto.

Goodness! forkushV seems to be awfully tightly wound. DonDiego suggests he not jump to unpleasant conclusions so quickly.
