Wow, I'm not sure how I feel about having escalated the conversation. I believe all morality is social morality. If you stay at a hotel or play at a casino you do have certain duties to the hosts. One of those duties is not taking their silverware... etc. etc.
I don't think a discussion of Dancer's marriage is warranted, that being another aspect of social morality in my opinion. I was disappointed to find mention of her personal characteristics in some of his columns. His attempt to avoid condemnation for the breakfast incident further soils his character, in my estimation, anyway.
