Casinos Alont I40 Thru New Mexico & Oklahoma

Will be traveling on I40 thru New Mexico & Oklahoma in December.....Looking for recommendations on casinos and other points of interest easily asscessible off I40. Thanks.
Albuquerque has a few casinos.....I've only been to this one and it was a long time ago.https://www.sandiacasino.com/ It was pretty good then.

The casino had a full pit of table games.

Not too far from downtown and only about 40 minutes from Sante Fe.
About 5 miles south of the I-40/I-25 interchange at I-25 Exit 215 is the Isleta Casino. Searching the internets suggests this facility had become a Hard Rock some years back, after DonDiego's last visit, . . . but is now back to being Isleta .
It had been pretty good to poor old DonDiego, with decent blackjack.

DonDiego's research also uncovers a new entrant, . . . out in the middle-of-nowhere at I-40 at Exit 140, 20 miles west of Albuquerque. Based solely on size and the internets the Route 66 Casino Hotel looks like a place where easter could get his kicks.

Both operations reportedly offer the standard Las Vegas 6-deck blackjack with doubling after splitting and late surrender.

Oh, . . . and between New Mexico and Oklahoma easter is likely to find the Texas panhandle and the City of Amarillo. And there on the north side of I-40 at Exit 74 is The Big Texan Steak Ranch where easter and his companions can each ingest a 72-ounce steak for free, subject to certain rules. DonDiego says: "One should arrive hungry."

Other than that, . . . well, . . . there's miles and miles of miles and miles.
Thanks DD...have been to Amarillo and The Big Texan...didn't try the 72 ounce steak, but saw someone try it.....That steak is a monster...and you have to eat all of it, plus the sides that come with it, to get it free....I left a few minutes after it was served so I don't know if he finished it....

I have seen a guy finish that steak in less than 45 minutes. They used to have a web cam on their web site that showed people eating that monster.Don't know if it still exists.
I just saw the man v food episode where he takes that challenge and finishes the entire meal.
Route 66 casino was cute, free buy on 4 and 10(no vig) at craps last year. Hard Rock and Sandia are both nice, but not immediately off the highway(though close)--same good craps rules.
I live in Albuquerque. There are several casinos here. Sandia north about 10 mins from the i40 i25 interchange. Nice place lots of machines beautiful hotel but don't eat at the buffet. Beautiful views. Islets south of the same interchange about 20 minutes. It's ok don't know about the rooms. Route 66 I like it. It's about 20 mins west of Albuquerque has a hotel not sure about the rooms. Buffet is supposed to be really good. Sky city another 45 mins haven't been there in years.
cancer chic....would Route 66 Casino be the closest and most convenient to I40?
