But you get nothing for a resort fee! - Free local calls who am I going to call? I am from out of town. A free water I can get on for 1 dollar on the bridges or for free on the bridges but the guy wants a donation. Free newspaper ? Last time I tried to get the Free newspaper they were out $30 dollars and no newspaper wow what a deal! We have stayed at CET lately only because there was NO resort fee! I guess we have to start staying downtown.

Boy has Vegas changed over the last 10-15 years used to be no buffet was over $12 now it is hard to find one under even breakfast. Soda in the gift shop was 1.50 same price as the vending machine now both are 3.50. Beers in the gift shop were 2.50 now they are 6.00. Resort fees, early check in fees, and late check out fees. Where else can they get money from you ? I guess they ran out of things to raise the price on so they will charge a resort fee a fee for nothing that they can just keep raising, what a joke I used to love this town but after the last few visits I wonder if I will ever return.

Another add on fee cooked up in Hell....Kind of like the airline checked baggage fee.

When I read the article, I scrolled down and read some reader comments, most all
were not happy except one reader who applauded it, stating something like " this
should keep those cheap tourist's from staying on the strip and that they would end
up likely staying at the Hotels that aren't close by, thus freeing up the strip somewhat"

the blog is no longer available. In addition, I don't see any official press release from CET so won't believe it until I see that. Maybe someone jumped the gun on that one?

I'm staying at the quad in a couple of weeks, I hope that they don't charge me for that darn resort fee.

Nothing is right.

Imagine the suckers paying the "Resort Fee" at Gold Spike and Palace Station.
I'm down to 4 Queens, Elco and Terribles and if they start with the bullshit I'll be staying back East.
