Chairs at the pools

I stay off strip--no problems with not enough chairs.

I've done that too. Lady came and dropped a bunch of stuff on like six lounges. Then she left the pool area

My friends and I grabbed her stuff, set it onto two of the lounges, and we took four of the lounges. She came back out about an hour later, kids and hubby in tow and asked what we were doing in the lounges she "saved".

LOL, like there was ANYTHING she or hubby was gonna do about it. Just stinks that we had to deal with bs like that in the first place.
speck72- I am with you, except they would have found their stuff on the ground if it had of been me.
Just got back from a great stay at Aria and didn't have any problems finding a decent spot, and this was at 11 am.

Been to other places like Mirage and Venetian during summer when people literally wait for the gate to open at 8, go and plop down their towels, and be gone. Sorry, don't think it's much fun to have to get up that early to "relax" by the pool.

You are 100% right about that. Sometimes we'll head to the pool, claim some loungers and then go eat breakfast at the pool cafe. I much prefer not having to worry about finding a chair. For my upcoming trip, my wife is hoping we stay on east coast time and be up at 8am.

We're staying at Flamingo and if there is drama to get a pool chair, we'll move to Aria.

I've also noticed there is a rush hour to get pool chairs around 11am. The first shift people are at the pool from 8am to noon and the second shift people are there from 11am to 3pm. So, right from 11 to 12 it is very crowded.
I prefer The Orleans pool area so much, because most of the time I just pull up a chair, put my towel on it, and that's it.

Much more enjoyable in my opinion, than the way over-crowded Bellagio pool that I experienced.

I bet the Bellagio had much better scenery. Scenery is a big part of the pool experience.

Which brings us back to square #1 ......... Only if you are able to find a lounge chair and stay for a while.

Snidely,

I heard Flamingo is really strict about bringing outside food or drinks, even when it comes to water. Is that true?

We took crackers and soda into the Aria pool area every day and nobody said anything to us.

You're lucky someone didn't toss your crap aside and claim your loungers for themselves.
