Went to their website to look at booking a room and now charge a 20 dollar resort fee which includes free Wi-Fi, 10 dollars off show tickets and free local and toll free phones calls.

I did enjoy my stay at The D over Memorial Day weekend; but I will not pay a $20 a day resort fee to stay there in the future. Bad move Mr. Stevens.

According to The D owner Derek Stevens, "over
85%
of all hotel rooms booked today in the city include a resort fee."
Resort fees are
* bad;
* easy to plan for; and
* here to stay.
Those few folks who refuse on principle to stay anywhere that imposes a resort fee are competing over a tiny slice of Vegas' hotel rooms.
