Democrats claim to have grown oil and gas production

Obama and friends have plenty of influence over drilling on public lands, yet they have far less influence over drilling on private lands. Here are the facts on production over the past several years.

Public lands since 2009: Down 6% through 2013

Private lands since 2009: Up 61% through 2013

Now, Obama and friends are claiming that they are responsible for increases in oil and gas production, but now you know better. After 2014, production on public lands is expected to be down about 10%, and on private lands up about 85%.

Obama and friends have been incredibly kind to the drilling industry. Much too kind, IMO. Fracking companies dont have to provide the specific formulas of the chemicals they inject into the ground....and they cant be sued when they pollute water supplies...and they are not held accountable for the seismic earthquakes their fracking causes. And rail cars carrying oil are currently configured to be bombs on wheels which is why Canada is passing legislation to reconfigure those vessels. There is no such effort in the US.

If Obama was the leftist, tree hugging, enviro-nut that people like Boilerman portray him to be he would use the EPA go after all these abuses...and push for legislation in Congress. But he hasn't. Thats why lots of leftist, tree-hugging environuts are not happy with him right now.

But Boilerman is right about one thing. Obama refuses to let frackers destroy Yellowstone Park. What a prick.

Rick Perry asks the same thing. 100's of them have happened in areas where no significant seismic activity has happened before...and they all conicidentally happen near fracking sites. And "coincidence" is exactly the word fracking companies will use to explain them.

"Before January 2011, Youngstown, Ohio, which is located on the Marcellus Shale, had never experienced an earthquake, at least not since researchers began observations in 1776." - note the began observing part... so were ther EVER earthquakes in the area? 3.? billion years of data that no one knows about and you are talking about never? Hummm maybe SATAN!!!!

PJ, my best friend is an executive in the offshore oil and gas business. I have another handful of friends that are also oil and gas executives. Obama and friends are killing this business. They lied about shutting it down after the spill, telling the public that they had finally opened up Gulf to drilling. A permit request would be submitted, and Obama and friends would sit on it until an appeal was submitted. They would fabricate an issue, then sit on it until an appeal was submitted. Then the would fabricate an issue and so on.

The government has become more reasonable, but Obama personally lied about the situation for years.

How much earthquake damage has been experienced? How many jobs have been generated. A train causes seismic activity for God's sake, but it doesn't shut down the business World.
