I have a touchscreen and still hate Windows 8. I love how fast it boots but I hate the whole feel / layout of Windows 8, that is why I use Classic Shell. If I wanted to use something that looks like a tablet I would use my tablet. I wish they would have made more of a gradual progression towards the touchscreen interface, that way us slow adapters could get our feet wet without drowning. Having said all of that I have read several articles where people love Windows 8 once they get used to it and I feel this is the way things are heading.
