Maybe he caught Ebola
DonDiego doubts that The Obama's apparent physical deterioration is due to contracting Ebola.

But something is beginning to bother poor old DonDiego.

Over there in Nigeria they sez that the 10 confirmed cases in Lagos are all apparently linked to a Liberian-American who arrived there on a flight and later died. And yet, . . . the official word from official government medical officials in the USA is that the disease can only be transmitted by direct contact with bodily fluids.
DonDiego is unaware of the habits of other LVA posters when traveling, . . . but if DonDiego were to travel to Nigeria, . . . or even, say f'rinstance, Las Vegas he would be unlikely to exchange bodily fluids with 10 different people in a matter of days, . . . maybe 10 times with 2 or 3 people when he was younger, but not 10 people !

Is it possible this disease in more communicable than the medical officials lead one to believe?

I heard it can be contracted through the eyes.If the virus gets on the hands and then a person rubs their eyes, it can get in through the fluid that-a -ways.

I got an e-mail from a Nigerian guy about an inheritance. Could I have been exposed?
Not a good sign: Mob Destroys Ebola Center in Liberia . . . (same story, just by the Associated Press)

Come on! Wilt Chamberlain did what 20,000 women in his life. 10 in a day would be like a snack...
Thursday 21 August: In response to questions from the press, the United Nations' World Health Organization [WHO] announced that the illness reported in the Democratic Republic of Congo was, in fact, NOT ebola, . . . but another hemorrhagic gastroenteritis. There was no cause for panic.

Sunday 24 August: The Democratic Republic of Congo declared an Ebola outbreak in its northern Equateur province on Sunday after two out of eight cases tested came back positive for the deadly virus, Health Minister Felix Kabange Numbi said.
"I declare an Ebola epidemic in the region of Djera, in the territory of Boende in the province of Equateur," Health Minister Kabange Numbi told a news conference.

DonDiego trusts WHO will inform him promptly when there is cause for panic.

WHO?
Yes, WHO.
Umm, WHO will inform DonDiego?
Yes.
WHO?

Ebola in Liberia is out of control. CNN

Genome sequencing in the Democratic Republic of Congo indicate the outbreak there is a distinct and independent event, with no relationship to the outbreak in west Africa. WHO

Six months into the worst Ebola epidemic in history, the world is losing the battle to contain it. Leaders are failing to come to grips with this transnational threat.
In West Africa, cases and deaths continue to surge. Riots are breaking out. Isolation centers are overwhelmed. Health workers on the front lines are becoming infected and are dying in shocking numbers. Others have fled in fear, leaving people without care for even the most common illnesses. Entire health systems have crumbled.
Ebola treatment centers are reduced to places where people go to die alone, where little more than palliative care is offered. It is impossible to keep up with the sheer number of infected people pouring into facilities. In Sierra Leone, infectious bodies are rotting in the streets.
Rather than building new Ebola care centers in Liberia, we are forced to build crematoria.
Last week, the World Health Organisation (WHO) projected as many as 20,000 people infected over three months in Liberia, Sierra Leone, and Guinea.
We are in uncharted waters. Transmission rates are at unprecedented levels, and the virus is spreading quickly through Liberia’s capital, Monrovia.
We have been losing for the past six months. We must win over the next three.

If you are worried about Ebola, I suggest that one does not watch The Last Ship on TNT
Have any of you folks reconsidered your positions from two months ago?
Boilerman- the ultra liberal windbags who flapped their ignorant lips and discounted the facts about Ebola can no longer be found here spouting off. Whenever found and proven wrong they just move on to another made up cause and repeat their ignorant rantings.
I'd much rather contract Ebola than DrMilled's anger management disorder. Its good to enjoy life while you have it.

When Boilerman's unscientific and outrageous claim of 1 million Americans getting infected with Ebola comes true I will be happy to admit I was wrong. Tell ya what....if even 10 people in AMerica get Ebola from a native source I will admit I was wrong. I don't expect any of our resident fear mongers to admit they were wrong when their Zombie Apocalypse prediction turns out to be a massive farce. If history is any guide they will simply move onto another Sky-is-Falling prediction based on no evidence.

PJ- As much as I disagree with your idiotic musings, I won't wish Ebola upon you or any of your other liberal cohorts. It is obvious that you cannot discern the difference between rational thinking and anger. But then again, I am not surprised.
