Dude, you are soooo right!

I mean there are NO multiple polls showing that the GOP would lose the House today over this stand. And there are NO current polls showing that the Republican Party is as unpopular as it has ever been. And there absolutely NO current polls showing Obama much more popular than congressional Republicans.

I am so reduced!

I've never been a Republican. I've taken multiple on line quizzes to characterize my political identity. In general I'm a libertarian with democratic social beliefs and republican economics. I think people like me are the true disenfranchised. The democrats pander to the under privileged to get their vote and the republicans pander to the religious zealots to get their support.

The American public is dissatisfied with all the elected folks. They are not just miffed at one party or one person. The whole thing is a mess.

During Obama and Clinton, the deficit shrank dramatically. During Reagan and Bush, it rose dramatically. During Obama, spending increases have been smaller than any time in recent history. Under Reagan and Bush, spending increases reached record levels.

So if you are blaming both sides equally for overspending and the deficit, please stop it. Same with government gridlock. Blaming both sides equally is just lazy - and that's the nice word for it.
