If you choose Eastside Cannery I would stay away from the buffet as the quality of the food reminds me of the old BOARDWALK buffet which used to be on the strip. In my perspective the Orleans offers a better overall casino experience with many resting spots throughout the joint.

I've never been the the Eastside Cannery so can't offer any information about that place.

Pretty much any place in Vegas worth staying at will be large. As for the Orleans, the rows are wide enough for a scooter. If mobility is an issue, let them know that when you make your reservation and they'll put you in a room close to the elevators.

Re the EC buffet...have you eaten there recently?...i ask because I spoke to someone who tried the buffet last week and said it was pretty good..

Here is my suggestion . . . . . .

I would stay at the Gold Coast a sister property of the Orleans. It's closer too the strip and it's a lot smaller than the Orleans, so it's not so far getting around the property. I have stayed at the Orleans and liked it but it's a larger property. The Gold Coast has great places to eat, I like the buffet better than the Orleans, love Ping Pang Pong! The rooms are smaller at Gold Coast, but i'm not in my room much in Vegas.

I know they have been having some great rates where you also get a food credit!
