How Can Someone Do This To Themself?

DonDiego has a copy of Mr. Grosjean's first book, Beyond Counting.

It used to be a real collectors' item. Anybody know what it's worth now?

I think it's going for $400-500. The second edition is going for around $3k and I think they've sold for as much as $4k or close to it.

No...what it is, is that the hotel is knowingly getting $10 extra bucks from suckers who pay $70 a night while the ones who pay $60 get the same thing and the hotel doesn't care.

We recently stayed at a nice Hyatt in Baltimore where they gave us a discounted rate for our family reunion. At check-in we were instructed to present our room card and ID at the complimentary breakfast area. Had ID all ready, but nobody was checking all three mornings we were there. I'm pretty sure that everybody staying at that hotel was eligible for the breakfast regardless of rate.
The true test of one's character is how they handle themselves when no one is watching - thieves will steal ( and have a twisted reason for doing so) and an honest person won't steal. You have to ask yourself the question- which person are you?

I have, in my possession, a ticket worth $250 should the EAGLES win the Superbowl this year that I'd be willing to trade for said dusty old book. I will even pay shipping costs.
I was just contacted by someone wanting to sell the first Beyond Counting for $1,800. It's been sold on E-Bay for as much as $2,700. I think closer to $1,000 is the going rate.
