How pissed off do you think Steve Wynn is?

How are the Macau employees paid compared to other people in Macau? I would think that is a more important question than how their pay compares to people clear on the other side of the planet.

in your description of the faults of these 2, I don't see any examples of either of these guys "stripping his modest employees' wages and benefits" yet, you say this is what makes them greedy douchebags.

How dare someone be so successful!

Its class warfare if you think Billionaires make too much money. its free market capitalism if you think the lady cleaning your hotel room makes too much? Right?

I invite Karen to take a job at the front desk at the Venetian and report back in a year to tell us about the over-the-top quality of life it yields her. Better yet, take that job in Maccau and see you stand by your comments.

Oh stop being a douchebag. Karen is right.

As far as front desk clerks in Vegas go, I have always received excellent customer service checking in at W/E & V/P.
That would tell me they enjoy their job.

Whatever the star-rating is at his resorts, DonDiego suspects Mr. Wynn is not particularly unhappy about his holdings in WYNN over the last 4 years:

Oh, . . . and the chart doesn't even include the $28.50 in dividends Mr. Wynn has given himself, including $8 cash just 2 months ago to beat the 2013 tax increase.

Mr. Adelson also has reason for happiness:

Given that pjstroh refers to the above gentlemen as douchebags, DonDiego wonders what they call him, . . . or if they've even noticed him. Perhaps: "mini-douche".

Very possible....I bet they would enjoy it less if their benefits packages were stripped. Consider that happening in your own employment for an example.

And I'm not old enough to be a douchebag. Thats another prerequisite to my definition. I prefer jerk, bastard, or a-Hole.

There is a different name I use for people who measure a man's character and happines by the charts Don Diego posted...or who passive-aggressively call another poster a "mini-douche". But I think I've done enough name calling for one day.

I would bet that Steve is still plenty unhappy about it...he loves to believe that Wynncore is the best hotel in town, and it clearly isn't.

Wouldn't you know, the exact same argument was use by those who advocated doing business with South Africa under apartheid.

You must be so proud.

Douchebag or no Douchebag, if Las Vegas was to ever put up statues of people who changed the city for the better, Wynn's statue would be right next to Howard Hughe's statue.
