My new pen

I am all soviet.
I wonder if they are as reliable as the old X-Ray glasses, play sub, or play tank?

I'm excited about my new spy pen. I don't have it yet, but I have it on order. In addition to being a fine writing instrument, the Pen also functions as a 1280 X 960 30 FPS HD video recorder with audio...and a 3264 X 2448 still camera...and (up to) a 16 GB flash drive with your own (not included) micro sd card.

Of course there's the possibilitythis is a piece of crap that doesn't work...I am ordering it directly from Hong Kong. I found similar Camera Pens selling with lesser specs for $150. My Pen? I bought it for the incredibly low price of $9.98 + $1.00 shipping....yeah...It's probably a peice of crap that doesn't work...but I've got to know.

On the outside chance it does work, I'm buying it for my May Vegas trip where I have plans to dabble in some stealth photography. Anyone else got a Camera Pen? Does it work? Ever take it to Vegas?

If it does somehow work, then time to go down to the casino lounge and film the working girls at the bar.

Take the pen.

Oh no

Go ahead.

I couldn't

Come on, take the pen!

I can't take it

Do me a personal favor!

No, I'm not

Take the pen!

I cannot take it

Take the pen!

Are you sure?

Positive! Take the pen!

O.K. Thank you very much

OK, lets get our facts straight.

NASA used mechanical pencils through the Gemeni program. The first procurement went through at well over $100 per pencil. When this became known heads rolled, an entire department was let go and re-staffed. Tycam Engineering (my cousin) lost its contract, for ever. I'm still laughing.

Then came Fisher Pen Co. They invested over one million dollars, OF THEIR OWN MONEY, to develop the famous Sienfeld space pen. Not only can you write upside down but also in the summer Vegas heat or on my race boat in the Southern Ocean (+400F to -50F). For the Apollo mission NASA paid around $6 each for them. Also to note in 1969 Russia bought 100 pens and 1,000 cartridges. Both NASA and the Russians continue to use the Fisher pen.

Come on, take the pen!

Yeah, but it took the Chinese to put an HD video camera into it and sell it for 10 bucks.

Go ahead.
