New threats?

Oh by the way. I was a special guest of someone at the Pentagon and took a tour of it in 1998. They were on heightened alert because of bombings of embassies in Africa. They knew exactly who Bin Laden was.
Pardon me, I had no idea I was dealing with someone who took a Pentagon tour in 1998. I'm sure you were given all sorts of secret info the rest of us don't have access to. Like if the snack bar has Skittles, or if the day care gives out cool stickers after nap time.

By any chance were you there on August 20, 1998, the day when President Clinton launched missles into Afghanistan targeted at Osama Bin Laden? Maybe it was really your idea!

I took a personal tour and it was either September or October when I went.

The two of you, still haven't refuted that Clinton had the opportunity to take Bin Laden out in 1999. All you care about is your cheap partisan politics. I think Bush was a fuck up in many ways, but people like you saw political opportunity to accuse his administration of postering false threats and now don't say a word when this administation is going on heightened alert. I appreciated being aware of it then and now. I don't make it a game like the two of you.

Oh, I thought you were talking about the It was Clinton's Fault version 1.0 dated 1996, starring the ever credible Sudanese war criminal.

Okay, on to version 2.0, stardate 1999. According to YOUR source, when bin Laden was spotted, "we immediately alerted the White House, and the Clinton administration’s response was, ‘Well, it will take several hours for the TLAMs, the cruise missiles launched from submarines, to reach that objective. So, you need to tell us where bin Laden will be five or six hours from now.'"

So for the First Time in world history evah, military assets were not perfectly allocated to take advantage of surprising intelligence. And I understand Clinton declined to then send ground troops into sovereign Afghanistan territory two years before 9/11. I mean, what could have gone wrong?

And me, I'm still pissed that Truman didn't find a way to sterilize George and Barbara Bush when there was still time. Otherwise he was a pretty good president.

Still can't answer straight, because Clinton could have had a plane in there in a very short time. Go watch the National Geographic special and all of the people they interviewed. It is too bad you are so full of shit and play your politics of hatred before love of this country.

I was quoting from YOUR source from YOUR link. If you thought it was full of shit, you shouldn't have linked to it.
This wasn't meant to be a partisan thing at all, this is our F'n govt. we're talking about who's in power is totally irrelevant You guys are so worried about he said, she said you've all lost grip of of what's really going on in our country. F'n children.

J

I honest to God never thought I would ever ignore someone on here, thought about it, but never thought I would and it's definitely not a pouting "i'm taking my ball and going home" thing either. If I encountered someone at a cocktail party who kept proving he/she was nothing but a complete asshole no matter how many chances you gave, it's time to go mingle amongst the other guests and avoid the jerk.

He lives for this crap and I get sucked up in it. He will divert, misquote you, and do whatever it takes to suck you into his little immature games. I have company coming to town, so I don't have time for him in the next few days.

Roulette Man turned this political at exactly 8/5/13 11:12 AM, Pacific time. As you probably know, I never turn threads political, and I never start political threads here either. I responded largely by quoting Bush's director of Homeland Security, and quoting from a link that Roulette Man himself provided.

In return, I've been called a whore, a leech, immature, and I've been told that I lie, misquote (where?), and that I would want to harm the United States if it would help me politically. You get that last one, jatki? I would harm our country according to Roulette Man.

As usual, I did not respond with any name calling.

So jatki, if you're contemplating ignoring someone because of their behavior here, then who? And before you answer, remember, false equivalence is evil.

You post little disparaging shots all of the time, so spare us your bullshit that you are somehow clean. You are a disgrace, and put your cheap hateful politics ahead of this country's needs. I personally believe that you would hope a president of the opposite party (in other words a Republican) personally fails and that the economy fails so that you can post your hate and propaganda.

You are a little man in stature.
