As DonDiego correctly implied, Putin isn't concerned with Obama's words. Obama has proven to World leaders that he "speaks loudly and carries a small stick".

In any case, its fun to see the circus of right wing pundits who have been criticizing the presdent for the last month. When they are asked what they would do differently they cant seem to answer. His small stick in Syria was disarming all of their chemical weapons....and Putin played in a role in that as welll....and it was all done without putting one military boot on the ground.

It would appear small stick foreign policy has been more effective at disarming WMD's than big stick invasions of Missle Eastern countries.

If we flooded the World with natural gas, crushing the Russian economy, the World would learn that American still has clout over the World's evil empires. We could begin exports in a huge way within three years if Obama wanted to aggressively pursue this policy. In ten years, we can be a giant exporter and Russia would be dead.

By the way, you asked what we should do and I told you. I agree with any and all sanctions that Obama can successfully employ. Natural gas and crude oil, however, are the trump cards with Russia and a great way to stimulate the US economy. Let's use it.

THe original goal was to remove Assad from power. He is still there, supported by Russian weapons
