Hi all. Rob appeared to get angry with me, and started to attack me, when I questioned him about several claims he made on my forum. Those claims were:
1. He was able to deduct on his taxes the cost of groceries as a business expense -- and the business was a professional gambler. He claimed that he convinced the IRS during an audit that his common groceries were legitimately deductible because he consumed the groceries while working as a professional gambler either giving advice, or teaching, or plying his trade. He never presented evidence.
2. Rob was critical of anyone and everyone who was part of a players club because he said being part of a players club meant you were either addicted or a victim of the casino's marketing. When I pointed out to him that as a winner himself he left thousands or even tens of thousands of dollars "on the table" by not being a member of a players club he blasted me saying I was an addict.
3. Rob was very critical of Bob Dancer after his divorce and Rob said on my forum that he predicted Dancer's marriage would fail when Dancer got married. I simply pointed out that Dancer's failed marriage lasted 13 years and it took Rob 13 years to get that one right. Rob blamed Dancer's addiction to gambling as the reason for is divorce. (Get the picture yet? If you don't agree with Rob you're addicted to gambling.)
4. Rob said he was going to write two articles for Gaming Today in which he intended to criticize various people publicly for everything from their financial failures to their gambling addictions, and their bad information about video poker and their lack of knowledge about how the games are really rigged. He was also going to single out an anonymous poster who failed to send to me his own personal tax returns so that I could verify his claims about winning at video poker. At the same time Singer was supposed to send me his personal tax returns. When Singer elected not to send me his personal tax returns to back up his claims (including the claim about deducting groceries) he said the anonymous poster should still send in his personal returns. I said there was no reason for the player to do that -- because there really was no challenge. The only real issue was Singer's tax returns.
5. When I said that I was on my third marriage Rob alleged that my previous divorces were caused by gambling. What Rob didn't know was that my first marriage that ended in 1985 was before I ever was in a Vegas casino or played video poker or craps; My second marriage which ended in 2001 was a short marriage that occurred again before I was a casino player. He blamed both of my failed marriages on being a gambling addict.
But before I criticized him, Rob was my good buddy. He congratulated me on my video poker wins and how I could win on negative expectation games contrary to what the APs said -- and of course that is his theme.
For the record, I am leaving Rob's videos describing his strategies on my site. When I recorded those interviews with him my goal was to have one place on the Internet where everyone could see them and make up their own mind about his strategy and special plays. I never played his "system."
And I want to say that Rob was not banned from my site just for turning on me. He was just a poor community member and I pleaded with him in personal phone calls to stop his vicious personal attacks and he just wouldn't. Yes, you could say his personal attack on me was the last straw.

Sorry, I should have said money la instead of moneylv. If you really are Mr. Mendelsen, may I ask why you felt you needed to explain yourself in such soap opera detail on your board after banning Singer, and then coming over here and doing the same thing seemingly on steroids? You did the same thing on a wizzards forum? if I understand correctly? What that says to me is maybe he was onto something about you. What I'm saying here is if you're the boss and you banned a poster who gets banned everywhere apparently, why not just leave it at that? He can't respond to your claims. Was he right? Who admits to being a gambling addict for god's sake.
