School Bus Monitor

What do they do? Looks like the job is to sit there and take crap from Jr. High School students. Then, get a viral video and collect 200K in donations. Good work if you can get it. Wonder what the qualifications are and what exactly is supposed to be monitored....

First requirement is to have a video spy pen to record the goings on....
1st of all, the monitor being tortured by the hellions did not take the video. The monitor did not post the video to Youtube.

The little pieces of shit that were taunting her are the ones that took the video. They are the ones that posted the video to Youtube. They are also the ones that twice before posted taunting videos to Youtube.

The grandmother neither solicited nor asked for donations. She is not the one that started this crap.

As far as what to do with the kids responsible for this behavior ? If it was up to me (and if it was legal), I would suspend them from public school FOR LIFE, and force their parents to pay for private school or military school. Then, when the parents are out 100,000 dollars or so for private school tuition, then the parents can finally teach their worthless brats some discipline. Discipline that, up to this point, has obviously been lacking in their life.
Breaking news...the average middle school kid is a punk. This kind of crap goes on somewhere every single day in every middle school. Send your kid with a camera and you might make a fortune.

Way to go marcisoave. I agree with you!

You'd have as much of a chance that the mini aholes 'parents' would would have money for private school as a Toyota accelerating out of control and also catching fire....oh wait a minute.

But still, when I rode the bus to school, we had no 'Bus Monitors'. What's their job? Prevent Bullying I bet.
There are severe consequences and outrage for harrassment in the adult world...but when children harrass their peers there has historically been a distinct lack of consequences and outrage.

This woman got a simple does of what happens routinely between children...and shrugged off by the adults responsible for monitoring them. At least she's mature enough to move on without any serious emotional trauma. Consider what such harrassment does to the development of a 12 year old girl.

Yeah, I feel bad for the lady but there is a bigger problem which largely goes unnoticed. You know who would shut those kids up real quick?

We had no bus monitors either. We one time had the bus driver stop the bus, go back to a kid who was behaving badly and write him a citation. The kid wasn't allowed back on the bus for a period of time. I would imagine in today's world, that the bus driver would probably have to go in front of the school board and beg to keep his job if he scolded a bratty child.

The woman should have used her own camera phone and videotaped the kid, while she insisted that he stop his behavior. Maybe she had one of those flip style phones that doesn't come equipped with video and only has a camera, that would have sucked.
In most states you are not allowed to video tape these brats. The current thinking is that they are but children and must be coddled.
