Let me share with you how this plays out in most school districts. When student(s) are misbehaving the driver does one or more of the following:
1. Pulls off the road until student behavior is acceptable.
2. Radios to dispatch to have a school administrator drive to where the bus is parked so the administrator can discipline the perpetrator.
3. Radios to dispatch to have police arrive (if safety is a concern)
4. Drives bus back to school where offenders are met by school administrators for discipline (and parent pick up is required).
5. Makes a report to the school and administrator follows up next day with discipline that typically includes loss of bus privileges and some kind of suspension.
That's how it works in most schools. Can't explain why it is not like that in Greece, NY.
