Thank Goodness, the French are with the US, . . .

Your meaning was not misunderstood. You meant to highlight how the US is almost alone right now in having a leader willing and able to attack Syria militarily for gassing its civilians. Your snark at the French was poorly directed, however, as illustrated by our mistake in disregarding France's advice ten years ago.

BTW, it's neither here nor there at this point, but recall that President Reagan once had no qualms about arming the stone-age Mujahideen in Afghanistan, who later reformed as the charming Taliban.

This looks like one of those situations where our President's job will be to choose the least incredibly-awful option.
Shame on all of you. Don't you watch FOX News? Or listen to Brittney Spears?

It is unpatriotic to question the president about foreign policy. He's our commander in chief, for Chris'sake! It makes us look weak when you engage in such behavior. You don't want us to look weak do you? Chicks don't dig weak guys! You cant get laid if you look weak! And your venomous criticism translates to an underlying hatred of our troops.....and America too. Jeez !

Just wait till I get my hands on my flag pin. I'll show you what a real patriot looks like !
As much as I dislike Obama, he is in a no win situation with Syria. I certainly would not like to decide what ultimately comes down to his decision. Do we go in or not, hindsight will serve us 20/20!
Whatever Obama decides, I am sure that such an exhausting decision will merit another vacation.

As usual you know Chilcoot is going to give her political spin.

I think it's a huge mistake to get involved over Syria, we have no clear cut objective not to mention it's really none of our business. Alsp isn't a big conflict of interest to be aiding the AL-qeda rebels in one peace while fighting them elsewhere? Makes not a bit of F'n sense.

Seems BO is still trying to drum up support while he's at the G20 with no success, why in the hell is he still pressing on with this BS, he seems to be the only one who's really gung-ho to get involved in Syria. Folks here at home are definitely not eager to get involved either. I heard him today on the radio, some swedish reporter asked him something along the lines that "as a recent winner of the Nobel peace prize, why do you want to use force in Syria?". He hem-hawed a bit, talked about the red line thw world has drawn and such. He stammered quite a bit on that one.

Speaking of back home, he's really got his backers doing the hard sell for the upcoming authorization vote and I always just love reading things like this coming from one of our elected officials,

"While intelligence information on the recent chemical weapons attack has been provided to members of Congress, the public hasn't had the same access — a point Feinstein recognized, saying: "But you see, then they don't know what I know. They haven't heard what I've heard." In other words, I know much better than you peasants what's the best decision to make.

I do believe that if the US does go through with some type of action it won't sit well with the voters in the upcoming elections.

EDIT TO ADD: Sounds like BO is getting the har sell to NOT do anything by the G20 (well, not really a shocker, but...). Good point about oil prices too(again no shocker).
